A few things: the reason pyramids have appeared in so many places is because they are a relatively simple architectural form. Step 1: build a flat stone platform. Step 2: build a smaller stone platform on top of the previous stone platform. Step 3: build an even smaller stone platform on top of this. Continue until the top platform is so small that you can't build any more platforms on top of it.

Pyramids were common in antiquity because the building methods of that time did not allow people to build anything large unless it was a pyramid. They used huge blocks of stone and usually no mortar, so they couldn't build a dome, for example.

There's not pyramid in Mars... only hills. Here in "Mesoamerica" (there's not such place... it's only a geographic region) doesn't exists Pyramids, but truncated bases... @1968bigcity yes my friend i agree to a point. navigation about the earth which is spherical needs points in the heavens so that the ships dont get lost. the ancient mariners needed to look up into the skies because they didnt have any other way to navigate. you see when you are out in the open ocean away from land masses its very easy to get lost... unless you can navigate via the stars and the location of the earth in its yearly cycle. divided randomly into 12 sections..so it does make sense!

A few things: the reason pyramids have appeared in so many places is because they are a relatively simple architectural form. Step 1: build a flat stone platform. Step 2: build a smaller stone platform on top of the previous stone platform. Step 3: build an even smaller stone platform on top of this. Continue until the top platform is so small that you can't build any more platforms on top of it.

Actions are based on beliefs, and if people's beliefs are wrong, their actions will be counterproductive, wasteful and often dangerous. You can use the words "stubbornness" and "closed-minded" and "predictable" as verbal cudgels as much as you want, but all it does is render those words meaningless.

Pyramids were common in antiquity because the building methods of that time did not allow people to build anything large unless it was a pyramid. They used huge blocks of stone and usually no mortar, so they couldn't build a dome, for example.

No one can deny the the power of pyramids. Its provable. There is a reason why the ancient build them who ever those ancient were. They are in a perfect alignment with the stars all over the world. I heard about those balls as well. In some places they are called the belly button of the world. This all is showing our deep connection with the universe.

I have to believe that these drawings and carvings were the only way they could pass down certain messages.I know way before the bible ever came along that these civilizations had a relgion.One that wasn't censored or edited and based on tales that, in time, were distorted.I guess in a sense, true and closer to what the Creator(God) really expected of us.Not sure where the Mayans came from.I have heard different stories t..But, they obviously felt they had somethng to say or share with others.

Not to be a dick Lunarmoonbase2 but Bosnia is not in China. The Valley of Pyramids in Bosnia do however own the largest Pyramids on Earth however! The Pyramid of the Sun is 30% larger than Khufu's Pyramid and even the second largest Pyramid, the Pyramid of the Moon, is larger as well!!! It's truly upsetting that such an amazing archeological find is virtually unknown to the majority of the World!

Just to clear up a couple of things...the largest pyramid in the world is in China, not Egypt. The Bosnian pyramid is a pyramid and the tunnels beneath it are available for viewing on youtube.

And sure it may be true that man built these magnificent monuments but it is without a doubt that there was an extra terrestrial force aiding the process! Since the beginning of mankind's recorded history drawings, carvings, and tales have been made all over the world that undoubtedly prove there has been alien contact! As so greatly stated above yes I do believe these carvings and drawings to be proof!! Based on the fact that these many different carvings and drawings were found at opposite ends of the Earth, and at a time when there was no way to travel these great distances, that depicted exact events and similar descriptions of Extra Terrestrial beings I do!!
