  • If cutting coins were illegal then wouldn't those machines at amusement parks that use your penny to flatten it and imprint designs be illegal too?

  • Think your videos are great, however you should try and remember that your videos are watched by people from all over the world and while cutting coins may not be illegal in the US that does not mean it is not illegal in other countries and you should make that part clear.

  • @elvis459, well, everyone with a brain can use google and check if legal or illegal in his country before working on coins.

  • @ploetzlich30 When someone makes a blanket statement that cutting coins is not illegal then some people may take that as gospel, when in fact it is not true but besides that I was not addressing you and didn't ask for your opinion so share it with someone who cares!!

  • Section 331. Title 18, U.S. CODE: Prohibits among other things the fraudulent alteration and mutilation of United States and foreign coins. This statute does not prohibit the mutilation of coins if done without fraudulent intent or if the mutilated coins are not used fraudulently.

Jewelery made from coin is legal. It is a common myth that destroying currency is illegal but it just is not the case.

  • Actually it is against the law to mutilate money. Even if you do it in the name of art it is still illegal. The fact that you admit to in on the web and submit a video of yourself doing it....now that takes grit LOL

  • *forstner* bits are best used at low speeds....should adjust your drill press, just sayin. great vid though

  • Good, now you need Flying Dutchman Scroll Saw Blades and Fine Scroll Saw Patterns from ScrollSawBladesPatterns . com

  • Famous last words,"it is fairly soft wood so I am going to try to hold it". PLEASE help me teach my students right! ALWAYS clamp done small pieces no matter how soft you think the wood is.

  • You keep saying "indention"...isn't suppose to be "indentation"?

  • Hey Mr. Good. Love all of your videos. I notice in this one you lay your chuck key on the table. If I try that, I am always losing it and have to stop work and look all over to find it again. So.. I took a magnet out of an old car speaker (any magnet should work) and I stuck it to the top of my drill press which is metal. When I'm not using the chuck key, I stick it to the magnet and I always know where to find it. For the two or three drill bits that I use all the time, I stick them there also.

  • What kind of video camera are you using? It seems to work very well.

  • Why comment on someones language use? SDGOOD I love your video's. And your website. Greetings from the Netherlands. And my English is 100% worse. lol

  • "ideal is" or " idea is" ?

    good presentation and information.

  • @gallianp Idea i thing by Greek Ιδεα!!!

  • well. it is forstner not fostner...why comment negatively? the person said they like the vid and the guy who made the vid also learned something.

  • I did not take the comment as negative. The spell checker works great but someone needs to come up with a talk checker. Now that is something I could use.
