you know... when they were fighting, why the hell didn't any of the other gods come and help? examples: Demeter, Artemis, Apollo, Hera, Hephaestus, aphrodite... i mean sure... they probably aren't really that violent of gods, but cmon.. if the stakes are so damn high, they should probably tag along! still, great movie!!!!
Wait...did she say Goddess of Wisdom in war or wisdom and war? Athena was the Goddess of Wisdom IN war, and everything else, but Ares was the God of War. Disturbing she didn't even know who she was playing fully...
@Sniffysmyboy Athena was a goddess of many things including war/warfare. She was also the goddess of weaving/arts and of course wisdom. I think your thinking she can't be a goddess of war because Ares is the god of war, but in Greek mythology she is written as such. The only difference is that Ares has one area he governs, while Athena has many.
@samuraijaysan Everything I learnt is self taught and what I read about/researched was that she was just Wisdom and would draw up the 'battle plans' for the Gods as well as be a skilled fighter. But she used brains over brawn, which is what Ares was. But that's interesting. I don't think the actress played her well at all, she seemed stupid and naive.
@Sniffysmyboy i heard that the director wanted them to play younger versions of themselves so she might've been asked to present an element of naivety.
