Leonoid Stadnyk refused to be measured by Guiness so his proported 8'5" height is not official. Though pictures do seem to suggest a height of 8' or taller. Therefor the current tallest living man is Sultan Kosen at 8'1". 'Johan Aasen' was more commonly known as John Aaron and was an actor. His skeleton was measured after his death which suggested a height of around 7'2". A long way off his puported height.

no there actually isn't a SINGLE conclusive photo or video were Stadnik appears anywhere 8 foot 4 or whatever proclaimed height. The only time he looks 8'4 or 8'5 is when he standing with very, very short people like his mother who is only 5' and some random people. All conclusive evidence points to a height of 7'7/8 barefoot at the absolute most (and that is being EXTREMELY generous).

Needingless to say this list is extremely inaccurate and misleading. For example, Stadnik, Tomini, Ewing are no where 8 feet! And the author forgot to mention legit 8 footers like Zhang Juncai, Gabriel Monjane, Vaino Myrilline, Sultan Kosen, and maybe even Zhao Jiang (ok maybe not Sultan because he wasn't confirmed at that height until recently), but this vid is otherwise very inaccurate.
