Tito had that belt for 3 years, that's a UFC history record for his division. He carried the sport and blew it up as did Roycie Gracie/Ken Shamrock.

Actually Tito was very particular about who he defended against during the entirety of his reign, he only accepted fights he knew he had the upper-hand in, hence dodging Chuck Liddell, hence the reason he was comfortable talking so much trash and being so cocky and disrespectful.. he was a disgrace to the sport, his reign held it captive and once Randy (his first formidable defence) beat him it set the sport free.. he has a big head coz he is completely immature, and he cried for the same reason
