Are they serious? They really made a monument to commemorate Master Chief and the fallen and victorious heroes of Halo 3??? (I think I might have accidentally gotten one killed) Pretty cool though. Glad you put this here. Their excessive obsessiveness was actually put some really creative use.

Later a clown statue with a chainsaw tryed to kill him but he trampled on the clown statues head and it died. Then the love of his life randomly came up and told him she loved him. He then broke her neck. Copy this and paste it to 10 videos or he'll break your neck.
you know, Halo isnt just a shooter game but also portrays of how a war like this can actually destroy civilization. Halo has a reason, a point, and a purpose not just for gamers, but also for the fact of what humans have all been long fighting for...freedom.
I think this (and other artwork sketches) really show just how brutal and gruesome the war was from a more realistic perspective. Far different from what it's like in the games. The city is in complete ruins. And look at all the Marines fighting hordes of Brutes at spitting range, slaughtered by the waves, and the look of despair and weariness on their faces.
Some of the veterans said they ran out of ammo and had to salvage what they can, but had hope when they saw MC prime his grenade...
Master Chief couldn't have killed all of them with the grenade. Besides, the veterans were talking about different battles, not just this one. (And I though it was Sierra 117)

cal of duty is trailer trash 1 2 and 3 were crappy and 4 hardly makes up for the failures of the past although it is a good game the entire halo trilogy has been good through the years and it sold more games than cod4 on its first day than the whole release week of cod4

I agree, I love both games on both consoles! They have very different styles, graphics, and story telling. Love using a sticky grenade to piss someone off and Martydom does the same. Both are good in my opinion and I enjoy playing them both.

This trailer was amazing. I really like the ambiance of the miniatures. It almost turns it into a story more than actually playing. Arouses a lot of anxiety and excitement around the release. Excellent work.
Yes but Gordon Freeman is pretty much a negative space left to your imagination. And Valve never tried to arouse emotion around him.
Master Chief has dialogue and it is pretty unremarkable as far as I'm concerned. The Halo experience is great and fun, but I can't feel the emotion around the character that they want me to feel ( the veteran commercial in particular ). That diorama though is a great, great piece of advertising, but I doubt the game even reaches such genuine dramatic intensity.
It is not the character that is nessesarily important sometimes, but the effect they have on other people. The emotional espect of the Cheif is the whole "lone wolf" thing and the way he inspires the average man to greater things.
Then again you can say getting worked up by a computer game is "sad lol". But to be honest video games are fast becoming an accepted form of visual storytelling media, so feeling sentimental about a character in a good game is the norm now.
If you ever read the Halo books then you wouldn't say that, but then again I doubt most the people who play the game have even read them, I personally only read the first one. Anyways thats why there is so much to Master Chief, I havent played through halo 1 or 2 so I argue with you from the games perspective, Im more of a Gears fan myself, but I do have to give credit that Halo 3 is a very fun game, much much better then 1 or 2. but still I perfer the gear gameplay.

Ok guys, another SPOILER ALERT! Master Chief and Cortana live. Their frigate gets cut in half due to the portal closing on them, they are lost in space. Master Chief goes into a cryotube while Cortana activates a homing beacon.
i hope he doesnt die but they say this is the last halo game to be made, so they probably will give him a heroic death, and for showing his face i hope they dont. its better to leave it to the imagination, look at super metroid, totaly ruined the game in my opinion.

i hope he doesnt die but they say this is the last halo game to be made, so they probably will give him a heroic death, and for showing his face i hope they dont. its better to leave it to the imagination, look at super metroid, totaly ruined the game in my opinion.
