  • Brilliant. My dog learned in a matter of minutes. I do have a question though. I picked a pretty generic release word: "ok." This has already caused some confusion. Is it too late to change the word to "break," or will that really mess her up?

  • what breed is Sam!?

  • looks like a collie

  • A Shetland Sheepdog ("Shelti")

  • I taught my dog to Lay when i say lay and now he confuses stay with lay! i can't teach him! help please?

  • You can always teach dogs something different. I had the same problem and decided to use the word "wait" instead of stay. Then I joined puppy kindergarten and they taught "stay"! so i decided to change the following. "lie down" and "stay" instead of "wait"...my dog is a pup so as long as im consistent from now on it shouldnt be a problem. Hope this helped!

  • thanks a million!

    tips work great!

  • really you are great im gettin a rottweiler this weekend jus trying to learn how to train before i get him

  • Your video are good. My dog know some tricks, I have 2 videos. All the orders are in spanish.

  • Thank you.

  • Good method!

I however emphasize that you teach only one thing at a time. Usually first duration- the amount of time the dog has to stay, and distraction. Teaching both at the same time is a little more difficult and more easily can confuse a dog.

  • Thank you.

  • good ideal man that is one cool dog
