After watching this, I don't think that I could look at life the same and I hope that if you watched this the whole way through, that you have found a new appreciation for your situation and pray for the children in this part of the world. Think about your childhood and being able to play without a worry and just imagine being thrown into this world without a choice. It's a tear-jerking, gut-wrenching story and I hope you watched it all the way through.
I had to watch this documentary for my Cultural Anthropology class. I just finished watching the whole thing. I am in such awe about the entire situation. For not having an idea of what you were going to do when you got there, I think you did a beautiful job. Showing the angst and danger while showing how much that they are hopeful and do any means necessary to live another day.
It is a shame to know that along with these children there are also so many others around the world whom are invisible and forgotten.

i'm sorry, but prayer, and god will not be enough save these people. a foriegn government needs to find some future interest in africa for them to have invested efforts to stop the fighting, just being aware isn't enough, you need a force to put fear in the rebels, you need a diplomat to talk to the government to establish some kind of grounds for peace, and create a small protected city for the displaced children to escape to, if only africa had a huge oil reserve...

Hello (: My name is Roxie, and im a fifteen year old from Colorado. Recently I have really been affected by the story of the Invisable Children of Uganda Africa. My friend Lydia and I have decided to spread the word about this major crisis. So i am e-mailing all the major people of YouTube and trying to to get the word out there! If you dont know who the Invisable Children are, you can go to the Invisable Children website or keep reading.
The Invisable Children are children who have been abducted by Joseph Kony, leader of the Lords Resistance Army. These children are any age between 6-14, they have been taught to kill. . . or be killed. It breaks my heart to know this is going on and America has little influence to stop it. I signed a Citizens Arrest warrent for Joseph Kony, and if 500,000 of them get signed, President Obama will look into the bill that congress is trying to pass to save these children!
But thats not enough for me! I want as many people as possiable to know about Africa's longest running war pver the Ivisable Children! Thats why i would like YOU to make an out-reach video telling the truth about Uganda Africa! People NEED to know whats going on, people need to help! But i am only a High School student, I can only reach so many people. But you, you can reach THOUSANDS! i know, i subscribe (:

exactly hes just an idiot, obviously hes not seeing the big picture here..... not only that but this documentary was not done by millionaires or any type of government agency, they were kids trying to explore and stumbled accross this situation and wanted to try and help the best way possible, which was GETTING THE WORD OUT, even if they were rich they wouldnt be able to bring more than 10-15 kids to america to raise them.... this way they are helping ALOT more.
My school is accomendinatly heping these invisible children but most importantly alot of school's are helping let it be your school helping asweel with the invisible childrens club. We take the talent and think of mayn ways! to raise that money to help educate these children that are showing their bright faces. Im currently a student in modeling school and once i gradute i will most deffently help more then i can. !! thats a Promise.

We don't need faith. If you don't know, faith is a HUGE part of what CAUSED this. The LRA is an extremist Christian group. Also I believe prayer in a time of disaster is just despicable. Why don't you actually help with something atleast? If you really can't do something about it, then be honest with yourself. Prayer is just a lazy man's initiative.

I have never cried so much during a film before.
It is a shame to know that along with these children there are also so many others around the world whom are invisible and forgotten.
