Love this prayer!! If I remember right, this was given by the Romans and not Egyptians.

and limited potentialed selves they cast themselves and things wich they perceived as powerful or beautuiful like the Alligators and the Birds of the dessert into the form of a God. Logical deduction dictates that if A god is to exist that it would have 0 limits no have any other God to condend with because of the fact it is all powerful. Ibso Facto, Regardless of Polytheism being ficticious it makes for good story material.

@Helenhealer The one who you reffer to as Jesus (even though his name Blessed Name is Yahshua- One Begotten of Yahweh) is the only actual historical figure/ devine representative of that group you mentioned to have actually lived and walked the Earth. In correction with all respect of course, Yahshua never claimed to be God or a God, He merely stated that HE is The Son of The One God. So If He is worshiped as a God, much like the protestants do, It is blasphemous and utterly heretical.

@MaestroInfernus He said he was the son of man...he never said he was the son of god...he mentioned his father in heaven, but he never gave him a name. There were many Jesus's/Yeshuah's in those days; it was a very common name.The name is not really what is most important but the essence and the message he brought.He came to bring chaos to order and he did so.he turned the world upside down.yet even his word and plans were thwarted by a very jealous Peter who was the true traitor.

@Helenhealer Correction when the pharesies questioned him and asked if he was the Son of FGod, He did say so. And no there were no Yahshuas by that name or spelled His Name IS significant beacause it means he is the one who is seperated from all the rest. The one son of God.

Its a nice poem. But has zero meaning because there is no Godess, onlya one God. Polytheism is impossible. Why? because a God by definition is not human and also by definition it is an all powerful being which is also imortal, something which mortals cannot attain. If an all powerful exists why then would limitation vbe put upon it, it is not possible. The Gods and Godesses of old are gone because they reflected the images that primative man sought for a higher existance and like their fallible
