The point being that he's probably playing at a low volume, and the fact that he's obviously sitting right by the camera is why you could "hear" him picking. You can tell the guy is playing too, his tone isn't the same as JP's.

On the dvd released with the new album, in the studio, he plays it on a 6. I play it on a 7 here but dont use the low B. Live, he used a 7, because he went from this song, straight into Dark Eternal Night. :)

I learnt it by ear. There is a tab available on ultimateguitar at the moment, but there are quite a few mistakes throughout so i wouldnt recommend it. I've just about finished tabbing the solo.
