I used to live next door to Carmody and none of those cunts would ever have even gone near Freebird records. Too many non middle class people there,, Isn't retrospection cool,,
This is mad! It's as if there are teasers left everywhere on the net but i still can't find the 100 Boys album. I just wanna hear the commercial version of Friends in time. Please some1 help.
I do have 'The Golden Horde' album aswell with the tracks Endless Weekend / Lisa / 100 Boys / Hell / She's A Weirdo / Friends In Time / Have A Scene / I Never Came Down / Now I'm Gone / Rorshach / Over Here / House Of Girls / Paula.
I was a huge Horde fan back in the day. I have been looking for the 'commercial' album they released. Was it ever out on CD? Loving the vids here!! still have a few tickets from The Horde at Mc Gonnagles back in the day!!
Weird to think of the Horde all grown up and with kids . Jesus does that make me feel old !!!
I think your old man gave me a weird look once in the Bus Stop record shop when he saw me buying a Horde t-shirt , wasn't a dirty look more of a "JESUS!! look at that loser , that's what our fans look like" ....lol (he was probably just happy at the thought of a 12p royalty :-)
lol thats gas, its wierd for me cause i always knew he was in a band but i thought it was one of those bands all teenagers are in at some stage, it actual had fans?!
I remember seeing the Horde for the first time in Tralee while on a Rag-Trip beer session from UL, followed them until they seemed to disappear (or I got old). Remember they supported Chemikal from Cork in the Two Mile Inn and also remember stage diving ( or trying to off a 2 foot stage ) in termites, Limerick! Have a good few tunes on MP3.
god awful ham-fisted novice RTE News Magazine production and footage.
Put a camera in front of anyone and they're an expert all of a sudden. The only person here that knew the Horde is Gerry Fish (first Interviewee)!?

best irish band ever (unless anyone can uncover video of the Honey Thieves).

@gleesonb Your comment is four years old, but ... there's a Honey thieves video at id d-6AL1_PpAY and it doesn't do them any justice at all.
