I absolutely love this design! I just have one question. What's the difference between drawing the character on a plastic bag rather than just painting directly on the nail? I have never seen this technique and it's really neat :)

@Kayleen1989 drawing directly on my nails I have to use both hands. so when I make characters like Ariel and flounders that are real known characters I do it like this.

@meeshee3663 they're the same as if you polish your nails - I never have chipping problems with my manicures but remove the designs after 1-1½ week

@MissEni97 there are different nail types, ex soft or brittle. Mine are "normal" and don't require special care, I don't do anything to keep my nails like this

Ok!! But wait, I'VE got a question!!! You just paint on the plastic bag with acrylic paint or nail polish?? And after you don't cut around the characters, you just peel off the character off the plastic bag? like the paint is enough solid to go off alone on the nail? *cause i'd like to do this designs with other patterns* Thanks! I love the make-your-own stickers idea. I'm currently sporting Joker inspired nails, but I had to do my picture of the character on my left thumb nail only, as I'm right handed- I'll definitely try this technique next time.

It's also nice to see someone doing nail art on narrow nail beds, like mine!

I'm going to try this design this weekend....but I have a question, when I was practicing drawing ariel and flounder i realized just how small I had to make them...but on the video they look so large...does it shrink when it dries or did you just make them really small to fit your nail?
