Ha it took me forever to figure out to use the projectin wall to vault myself across. And idk if anybody knows this, but I did this on accident lol....when that door for the energy ball receiver opens, jump inside and it'll trap you inside. GLaDOS will acknowledge this and leave it permanately open. I discovered cuz I was mad at this puzzle and wanted to see what would happen

guys seriously the turrets are so easy to take out they may as well not be there

just use portals to kill them by redirecting the energy balls

Wait... you mean you were supposed to do that crazy shit to flip that switch? WHden I did it, I just shimmied onto the platform the switch was on and then jumped onto a ledge on the cage. Then I made the portals and leaped back to the switch to press it while falling.

where are the turrets? those are steps too! I did a playthrough and I stupidly went in WITHOUT destroying the turrets. Somehow, I got shot at a lot. . . and LIVED!

u guys need to kill the turret by putting a portal where a shooting ball goes in , and then put an other turret at the laser beam from the turrets , so the ball will knock m off the platforms!!!

ooooo, I didn't think of using the energy orb to kill the turrets xD. I managed to kill all but 1 of them by actually jumping to them and picking them up.... and then the fire from the last one can be just about avoided by crouching on the edge of the moving platform. I make it too hard on myself lol

It is an adventure game of sorts, it has puzzle elements but isnt really a puzzle game. You have to play it to really understand. It is really awesome if you dont have a problem with thinking too much...basically, buy the orange box. Or at least the demo because it is one of those rare games that everyone should play, no matter what.

Ermm the turrets are simple enough to get rid off, you just open the trap door, get out shoot portal in the wall so that you guide the energy orb to target the turrets.
