Funny, I started Lolita with your age. Before know Lolita, I felt myself ugly,and nothing that I tryed made me felt satisfied, beauty and happy with my appearence. And in my beggining of acquire pieces for Lolita wardrobe, was not so easy because of the expensive price, I basically started buying handmade. At my majority was my beggining of start buy clothes by my own, before I was dependent of my mother judgment.

In nowdays feel myself more happy and beauty by dressing and buying Lolita Fashion

There are LOTS of American Lolitas, I'm one of them, and there are less expensive ways to be a Lolita. You could make your own clothes or buy from places like Bodyline Yokoso. :)

@loliviaify people will laugh yes, I live in America and i get lots of comments and laughs from how i dress, but you can't let that stop you from enjoying something. I dress in Lolita here in america, and you can buy from fanplusfriend and body line to get lolita cheaper or learn to sew and make it for yourself. Don't let others stop you from enjoying a fashion you like, if they laugh, well they miss out on how cute you will be, all because of their short-sightedness and small-mindedness.

It really depends on how you dress and carry yourself, wheras I find sweet lolita to often make someone seem really young, i find gothic and classic to almost age someone a bit, depending on how it is done. Either way you are beautiful hon.
