  • Have you ever wondered why humans are so full of shit? I have, and since the library was absolutely no help, I go online and there was the answer. A baby spends months living just centimeters from a waste processing facility and emerges from a hole right next to a hole where all the obnoxious gas and shit is discharged from. Best go with evolution; mistakes like this would make this all knowing god look like a creation of a stupid Israelite.

  • You live in the South so take a man stating he is a Christian with a grain of salt. they as an adult rarely ever would join and earnestly follow the laws in that book to the letter. Including proper diet, Yes i said it proper diet Yahshua(Jesus) was after all a Jew, who practiced Judaism. Just a hunch, and considering there day to pray was Saturday one can also speculate Sunday was changed to worship a pagan god. Sunday sun rises starts the week Saturday to sit or set ends the week.

  • @deathmarch5 I would suspect that you've offered some good advice here. Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment.

  • You have a really nice house.

  • Hello Bob it's me again from Tulsa. We recieved a blessing in December of 2009 when ol Oral Roberts bit the dust. Oh well, the world did'nt suffer any great loss.

  • That's funny. I am an atheist and I hate to admit it but your probably right. Or even if God didn't approve of us atheist he would just send us to hell along with the Christians, Muslims, and Jews. Faith seems to be a critical part of admittance to heaven so maybe atheists wouldn't be saved but I bet any rational deist would be worthy of a comfy space in heaven.

  • great video

  • I remember Dawkins saying:

"Science is great and if you don't agree you can fuck off!" Hitchens is also known for using such nice defamations as"fascist crackpot". Well, whatever.

I think I'm going to buy your book about vietnam. :)

  • this video is flawed... christians are not so much concerned with the "sermon on the mount" part of the bible, as they are with luke 19.27

    =)

the first comment was sarcasm, of course. great video!

  • Yes, I think you are generally correct about youtube atheists. They use swearing and ad hominems quite frequently, while Dawkins, Dennett, Harris and Hitchens omit them most of the time. Of course people don't want to lose their imaginary friend Jesus. They really need emotional evidence rather then factual. I was a Catholic until I saw the unbelievable decadence of Rome and saw what a wretched creature the pope was. I think what we need is subversive tactics just like in your vid here!

  • Bob - Thanks for this hilarious observation. Your last sentence was particularly funny.

  • Do they really? Most atheists I know don't call Christians per se stupid, but belief in dogma, authorities etc.

If you say, Religion is an excuse, would you share the opinion that the overwhelming respect for bogus beliefs is maybe the biggest problem humanity has to face before we can tackle the real problems?

Most conservatives appear to be just ignorant of insensible to issues like world poverty and overexploitation or suggest bogus ideas like world domination of free market corporatism.

  • should be ignorant or insensible

  • Bob, this is one of the greatest statements I've ever heard. The conservative Right in the US are the greatest hypocrites in history if they really believe their ideology has anything to do with "blessed are the poor and meek". I guess they're just frauds who lie intentionally in order to defend their parasital and exploitative way of life. What do you think?

  • This guy is obviously insane

  • Oh? And why would that be?

  • TOMisNOTfunny

Let's say you were a stupid person for argument sake, but I'm not saying that you are or not.

Now let's say you called some one stupid, what does that make you? Intelligent maybe?

  • wow great comment... you just made me realize thata this guy is intelligent and god is real...

    Aegialeus

I dont fucking care, mkay? :)

  • I am not really sure on how, as an atheist, I conned some poor saps out of a paradise that i think is bullshit to begin with? I can see your point though.

  • Neale Donald Walshe wote Conversations With God

  • WOW honesty from a christian, was nice however the entire thing about atheist conning christians from there pretend over play place called 'heaven'

  • Thats what I would have done if the emperor of Rome had demanded a Religion of me. The roman empire was already falling apart and needed internal stability. Rome ensured its power over another 1500 years to come.

But I would have made it clear to a careful observer that this is an allegory. I would not have wanted the people to actually believe and follow it possibly even for ever while still having to make it convincing to the romans.

hey, you called it a "Con Game". Ive played it.

  • in buddhism for example one must first become an atheist to follow the belief for it has no personal authorities or of course deities.

The writers may have wanted to create an exit strategy from the roman empire and spread some Wisdom after all while at the same time weaving their tales into the bible alongside with Roman forced instruments of earthly power.

  • Neither do I believe any of it of course. But the more I think of it there are only 2 possibilities:

#1 the writers of the bible were all immoral bronzed age biggots

    or

#2 they created a religion one must first decipher to understand. remember where christianity was founded. Under emperor Constantine. But it was founded on many myths allready existent. the writers may have wanted to preserve their beliefs while the Romans wanted to ensure themselves power over all.

  • once we have eaten of it the devil must get rid of us so we do not discover his true nature. (god heads off (without limbs= without power in this world).

    the test begins.

being able to determine good and evil now the devil must create religion to enslave our minds. So he does. And he is doing a good job at it. But he isn't all powerfull. Do you think God had created such poor and flaud Religions? and multiple at that.

  • of course he doesn't interfere. but remember: he has no chosen people. those are satans words in this construct. the bible is satans work of deception. he published some other books too just for the heck of it. god is testing us. life is our test to prove ourselves worthy.

picture the creation myth of Adam and Eve. It makes more sense if god has us eat of the forbidden tree to have us determine good and evil, while the devil lies to us about it. Would god lie?

  • if I interpret it this way, it, unexpectantly I must admit, suddenly inherits wise, major morals

    #1 no blind obedience EVER

#2 the morals can therefor only be found in onesself through logic and reason and compassion

#3 and only a free and open mind is the right path to achieve theese morals

compass from god my ass. morals are hard work.

  • for god knows there can be no infinte punishment for a finite crime. its simple math. the bible teaching cannot be true. but once you reverse it, it makes perfect sense. And jesus was god's inspiration to give us the idea. But even jesus' teachings were distorted and corrupted by the 'devil'. so it boils down to everyone having to reason it out for themselves for, again, god wants no blind followers in his kingdom. else any dog could make it into heaven by obedience.

  • I would interpret: god has reversed the two. he lets satan teach and rule the world for there is no hell but the world itsself if we make it "hell on earth". and his kingdom is the afterlife. and no blind followers of satan is allowed in, but they must (through reincarnation) remake the process of life to see if they are worthy of the heavenly kindom. here is where eternity comes in. eternity in hell, on earth but everytime again with a new chance for that is gods way of forgiveness and love.

  • the bible has many tales on the devil who is a master of deception, when really he is just a guy with a fork, a tale and a fork trying to steal everyones soul.

not very masterful if you ask me. how many people does god kill in the bible? hundred of millions. how many people does he save out of their misery?

he saved Noah and his family (probably just so he could keep toying with them or because he was too lazy to start over from scratch). how many did the devil kill? 1, on gods command.

  • IF there is a heaven that is. of course I don't believe in the christian myths. but if I would believe it I would interpret it as a test from god. He wants to see who despite all the evidence he brings against this bible through his 'creation' (nature, evolution, the cosmos, the human mind) still follows down the wrong path.

  • menage a trois....this made me laugh. A great point well made. All the best.

  • Ehhhh. wow?

Just came accross this vid via Pat Condells favourites, and I'm pleasantly surprised.

Me? In heaven? Never imagined it ;-)

  • Bob

I have been saying this my whole life and only just standing up for it now.

Freedom is not what we have and being trans, I can see religion in places that makes me sick.

As soon as you promise eternal, or an after, life, the 'here and now' is easliy forfeited for the 'now prize' of the afterlife or eternalife. The morals are short cutted and the 'race' is on.

If there is a God, I know which side they would be on!

    Peace xox Y

  • I agree you on the view about the non believers !! Being atheist or believer in god is an another POV of a human which may suit according to his attitude towards the world or his past experience. Both of them are correct from my standpoint cuz "non-believing" too beckons believing against somebody's believing ! Btw to end up I love the house in which you make your videos !! I dream myself inside that house :D . Lol . Thnx and I'm expecting a reply !!

  • So very true. To paraphrase Pat Condell; the churches and established religions and people therein, are the very Philistines that Jesus preached against.

  • Wow.... very good video. I loved how you worded yourself. Very well done.

  • Amen to that Bob!

  • I've been trying to watch this video all day long but YouTube was being bastardly and it wasn't even a maintenance issue, it was a website malfunction. -_-

Good vid but you're giving out our secrets. :P
