Even if this arsonist didn't kill anyone, I think that the sentence should be for more than 2 years. I'm guessing he probably did some community service after his sentence.
Most of the times, arsonists wouldn't dial 9-1-1 after arsoning someones home. That's why arsonists are really hard to catch. I'm pretty sure if someone died in that arsoned house, he'd have a longer sentence in prison. Maybe even LIFE! It's a good thing that the 9-1-1 dispatcher kept the arsonist on the line long enough for the police to catch him.
And thus ends the painfully short career of the Torch. By the way Mr Torch, Marvel called. They said to find another name. That one is under copyright. Have a nice day.
At 2:32, if that's the arsonist, where did the sherrif's jacket come from?? All throughout the segment he is not wearing a sherrif's jacket, but at 2:32 he is all of a sudden wearing a sherrif's poilce jacket.
2. With all of the calls he is making at a pay phone, how many quarters do you think he has?
As a tip to the producers: never pan past a clock with the real time on it when the re enactment is supposed to be taking place at 4am... At about 4:20 you can see a digital clock that says 22:43 or so...
@OneSkiWonder Another name for job security for you is "WINTER". Arsonists are not your best choice for job security. Its all funny until it happens to you. lol
Yes, and by all logic an reason the DC Sniper was suspected to be white, middle-aged and a loner. He was none of such. You can't go by stereotypes, because they are only accurate most of the time. There is still that chance they're wrong.
If you think THIS clown got too light of a sentence, take a look at "Hurt Highway Lt." from Episode 214, which is on this site. (For those who haven't seen it, I won't spoil it for them.)
What is scary is that the antique 1960's style dispatch center that Houston had way back when this was filmed worked better and had less flaws than the 6 million dollar one they switched to a few years ago.
For one thing there was an actual human that talked to you instead of a computer that sounds like the computer from the movie War Games. The thing will freeze up in the middle of dispatching a call and cut off half of the information.
Yeah no doubt. I've lived in the Houston area my entire life and even as a kid I can remember how bad it was. Long story short, if the surrounding housing is old and white like the one in the beginning of the video and it's off North Main St. Stay AWAY unless you own an armored vehicle or you're a suicidal nut job.
You know what the difference between a arsonists and firefighters? Firefighters do it legally. Firefighters = pyros playin with fire. Ask any firefighter and they will tell you that what I just said is true. I am a wildland firefighter and a structural firefighter. I swing both ways ;)
For the opening of this segment there should have been 2 animated vehicles Firetruck and policecar LOL since this segment deals with both those vehicles.
What the hell was wrong with the judge giving a guy that sets fires only two years. Arsonists should always get a sentance of life in prison or better still the death penalty.
Its morons like you and the arsonists who are the complete idiots.
Arsonist are all prospective murderers as they do not care if decent folks are injured or killed. When caught they should be executed to prevent them killing in the future.
If you have a mad dog that tries to injure and kill people you need to kill it for the safety of decent folks. An arsonist is no different, he or she tries to injure and kill people and needs to be killed for the safety of decent folks.
I agree 100%. In fact, I have a long list of laws that I strongly feel should be rewritten to include a mandatory death sentence but I don't have the time or space to list them all here.
Rescue 911 is a good education series about what to do when it comes to 911 emergencies. Whether it's learning about fire safty, crime, or any kind of accidents.
