@SuttaBro Because four fingers are easier to draw. And market studies have shown that most young audiences don't notice if characters do not have five fingers because their minds don't notice that much detail when being assaulted with other stimuli ( like a princess singing for example)

@SuttaBro Between King's Quest 4 and 5 Rosella was held for ransom and they sent the extra fingers to prove she was alive.
