@Scarperguy Magical Mystery Tour's official DVD release is out of print, but there is a widely available bootleg of terrible quality that is for some reason sold in major retailers throughout the United Staes. And if you're not American, the DVD is region free.
@Scarperguy I bought a Hard Day's Night for 5 bucks at F.Y.E. because it was on sale and Help was ther New and Used and Magical Mystery Tour was there too for 11 bucks but Let It Be was not there because apple chose to not re release it for being "controversial"
Hello. A long time ago - LYNDON EVANS with a talented crew created this animation at LEGS productions in Manchester - for Granada Television in 1987. It was commisioned by the documentary Producer John Shepperd and Phil Buckley.
We worked closely with Peter Blake ( designer of the original album cover)
The motion control was ground breaking technology at that time and was shot by Neil Weiteska & Stuart Bourne.
This version is a poor edit from the original in GRANADA /ITV achives.
The Beatles were a bunch of white motherfuckers and I hate them. English cunts.
All they ever did was do cover versions. Plus, half a century ago when they were becoming big amplifiers and recording equipment was so primitive so all there records are shit.
Fuck them. even fiddy cent )(of the less well known black musicians) is infinitely more clever and talented than these liverpool bastards
@dvs1572 OMG At first before I listened I'm like what bs is this. But I listened, yeah it's definitely there. Great ear and work. But as I was once taught, if you're going to steal, steal from the best!
I wonder if all those idiots that burnt all the original memorabilia and records regret it now they are worth thousands? By the way the Beatles are not only bigger than Jesus the are far far better!
I agree with that kid. This album is awful. The Beatles were probably the most mainstream band ever created, and when they were tired of bubblegum pop, they tried to be all trippy when they were given acid by that awful muscian, Bob Dylan. But the only thing they could accomplish is making an album that is barely listenable unless you take some LSD. Plus the title is tl;dr and there are no music videos for MTV.
@kabouki210 The bands you listed are great , but you sound like an old fart that only listens to 60's music, theres lots of other great music out there but your stuck in your 60s and 70s world and will never find most of it.
@robinzhooded I have a wide range of music in a library, From the 50-Slayer. As a guitarist I can play a wide range of music. With that in mind I can say that with out bands like the Beatles, Hendrix, the Doors and so on, metal bands of the 70's-00's wouldn't be what they are today. If you can play guitar, get some music from from R.L. Burnside, The Beatles, Pantera, Metallica, Hendrix, and the Doors they are all based off the Blues. The difference is what approach the artist uses to the riff.
@robinzhooded And you sound like you barely looked into older music before dismissing it. Music changes over time, but doesn’t only improve. Modern music isn’t better than Bach et al, just different. There’s good old and new music. (I’m 28, BTW)
The Beatles were NEVER bubble gum pop. Bubble gum originated in the late 60s, during the Beatles’ psychedelic period. Their early songs may sound quaint now, but they were innovative at the time and still have strong melodies and great compositions.
@robinzhooded Forgot to mention: I thought Dylan was overrated, too, until I checked out lyrics before and after him. He was pretty much the originator of interesting lyrics in rock. Probably every decent lyric owes something to Dylan's influence.
@Scarperguy Look at robinzhooded's upload list. This is a child that wouldn't know good music if it took his virginity; which will never happen. If he knew anything at all he would know that the bases of heavy metal came from the progressive sounds of the 60’s and 70’s like Hendrix, Dylan and The Beatles. If you turn the distortion and FX off on heavy metal you soon realize The Beatles left more talent in the toilet than most heavy metal guitarist.
@robinzhooded umm, you're an idiot.. the Beatles were the greatest band in the world, and they still are! For you to come onto a *BEATLES* video, not being a fan to trash them is such a dick movie.. I bet you're a 40 year old man living in his mom's basement collecting comic books and listening to Justin Bieber..
@robinzhooded ummm actually do your research before posting a comment. Bob Dylan gave them weed, not LCD. And just because there are no music videos for MTV doesn't make it bad. For one, MTV doesn't even play music videos anymore. And two, the Beatles don't need music videos to sell their music. If the Beatles are such a bad band, then why is it that even 40 years after they broke up, they are still one of, if not THE, most popular band in music?
@robinzhooded hahahahaha ure an idiot to put it cleanly and i listen to this album all the time and it calms me down at night which is really relaxing
Why would this video scare someone? It is a work of art, and I think it is very cool.. The four armed doll is not scary, it is just someone's culture, and George Harrison was Hindu, so I am sure he thought the doll on the album cover was great! :)
ya know when a video goes online its not rare anymore, its been on the beatles anthology, people all over the world know about it so its not rare anymore
We did it with the original designers of the cover art and all costumes, 'The Fool' ON A&M Records.I WAS MANAGER OF Semon & Meriacha. Karl FERRIS was the BEATLES
The entire rock and roll scene shook when the Beatles released the Sgt. Peppers album in 1967. Many consider the Beatles to be the most influential and most popular music group.
If this album was praised by everybody on earth it would still not be overrated, because very few people (i think) can actually pick up the great sound from it.
I'm also tired hearing Beatle' fans say that Revolver is a better album than Sgt. Pepper because I can understand if one digs those guitar played backwards on and you'r bird can sing for example, or the psychedelia of "Yellow Sub." or "Tomorrow never Knows", on Sgt. Pepper almost everything sounds different!
I agree totally. I remember when Pepper came out and the impact was unbelievable!! It was like nothing anyone had heard before. Much great impact than Revolver, Of course, all Beatle songs are great, some just greater than others.
I'm not sure it really is the greatest album ever after all you know, maybe I'm overreacting a little. I like classical music too and this one stands close.
It's not rare anymore. Bitch.
