I thought the movie was ok when i watched it the first time. But i watched the making of it on the special features of the dvd and watched the film again after that. The making of the movie really made me appreciate it more and showed how much effort they put into making it realistic and getting the acting completely perfect! So now i think its a great movie :)

This movie is exellent for the following reasons: Thought provoking (it has you thinking about what just happened), Emotional (you feel several different emotions though out the movie) Real (dirty cops are a reality) I found myself wondering what would eventiually happened. Full investigation? Suspensions? Firing the dirty cops? I know it's just a movie, but if a movie pulls you in like that, then the acting was damn good. They were very convincing.

People have different tatse, it was disturbing at first for me to see it but when i watch the movie again and again it shows you the darkness behind whats going on and the darkness of the storyline, and also it shows the different ways both Jimmy and Ray get the answers they want, as it then shows in the scene after this.

oh come on everybody knows you have to do 2 or 3 oscar worthy performances to get an oscar look at pacino he gave the best performances for over 20 years before he got an oscar! Edward Norton had a great start to his career with Fight Club and American History X but since then the film industry has deteriorated and he hasn't had opportunities to work in GREAT films. His work really started going downhill from Kingdom of Heaven. I was disappointed a little by him in The Illusionist.

Yeah but Edward probably doesn't notice himself, that he does have a stutter. Bhe does say straight after "thats a funny way of putting it but i think..i think". But i think it was a Ray & Edward thing as Edward does explain a bit of Rays personality. Great interveiw by the way.

Actually it's very funny that, after the guy told him (sideways) that he stutters he didn't stutter almost at all for the whole interview (!) Like he was doing it in purpose ! If you notice it, he tries not to do it and you can see it in his face and in the way he says some phrases. Like he says:

You told me I stutter ? See, I don't !

I wonder why Edward didn't just admit to Chuck that he has a stutter. In some interviews Edward struggles when trying to express himself and his stutter is very obvious. He repeats words and phrases and even exchanges words he cant verbalize for words he can. The stutter is an endearing and interesting feature in Edward's persona. I admire Edward Norton because he is a very talented actor; I also respect him because he cares more about his craft than being a star.
