@justinbieber123ize Thanks! You can absolutely use a straightener- just pin up the curls until they cool so that they'll stay longer! I think I got my headband from Wal-Mart, it's just a cheap plastic one I had lying around, nothing special!

@datchickleslie21 My hair doesn't take a curl very well, so it came out within 4 or 5 hours, but if your hair doesn't hate you, it will stay in much longer! Just use a lot of hair spray, and a heat protectant made especially for curling!

@cinderilli5 From personal experience, it should work, but the curls won't stay for as long, and you have to leave the curling iron in a bit longer. I have a lot of thick hair too, so it might be the same case for you.

I wouldn't recommend doing it regularly, either, because that's a lot of heat damage!

@loladoll10 At the time of this video I think I was using the Body Shop Nettle oil control shampoo, and the Bed Head Brunette Goddess conditioner. I'm still using the conditioner, but I'm using a L'Oreal Vive shampoo now for colour treated hair. I'm also a big fan of leave-in conditioners, like the Amlika one from Body Shop, and the Tresemme hair mask. Hope that helps :)

this is a very good tutorial for someone who has time, but what i did was curl my hair, and the curl doesnt have to be great, just make sure the hair is nice and hot and recreate the curl and hold it there until it cools (which only takes about a minute) and in the mean time, just lightly mist it with hair spray and when its down just scrunch it a little

@Showsomelove123 I just separated it into about 3 or 4 sections and curled them without pinning them up. It may look different to you because they're not as tight and defined as the front curls! Hope that answers your question!

You dont need to pin up the curls or separate the hair, its just super time consuming.. And you could use a little bit smaller curling iron thats on as hot as itll go which will help your hair curl better. I have a really good curling iron and its amazing(you get what you pay for). @xXxTwilightFanpires I don't have a tutorial, but a Youtuber I really like named jodienas has a really good one! The two movie styles are really similar, so all you'd need to do is make the curls in the back a bit tighter and have them curl closer to the head. Maybe pin them up as well, or use a smaller curling iron for the whole head.

@missezzi Once you get good at curling your hair, I'd say you can get the whole head curled and the front parts pinned in no more than 10 minutes. The front parts need to cool before the headband goes in, maybe another 10-15 minutes more, but you can do your makeup or something else while you're waiting :)

@thehollychloe You could try using a smaller curling iron, like a 1 inch. It will make the curls smaller, obviously, so you'd have a mini-version of the style. Or you could get some clip-in hair extensions if you're really desperate :)
