The guitar playing, especially at the end, is superb - it reminds me of Anger In Harmony off No Smoke Without Fire. Unfortunately I'm not enamoured with Andy Powell's singing. At least Martin Turner's band have the original vocal sound and some nice harmonies too
Another great track from the new Album; especially the guitar instrumental . . . it really rocks! All aspects this new CD are superb . . . drumming exceptional and bass superb. Let's not forget that Andy Powell has never left WA and remains one of the great guitarists. Through all their incarnations, this current line-up is easily as good as MK1 and MK2 . . . long live Wishbone Ash! . . . . Powell to the people :-)
@sutre7 it is a paradox isn't it? but that is how I feel Martin's voice is gone and the 2 guitar players, were from a wishbone ash copy band- so, we have 2 wishbone ash bands...1 clearly better than the other- somehow Andy, has become Wishbone ASH-
Mrtin's band, doesn't have any new wishbone cd's do they? nope
@sutre7 I agree completely with VoodooGhoul. Andy Powell is one of the best guitarists ever, but I've never liked his singing. They are still a brilliant band to see though and so to is Martin Turner's WA - where of course lies the classic Wishbone vocal and bass sound.
@VoodooGhoul I share this view with you, i always said that Wishbone need Martin Turner or such a singer back in the band because Andy cant sing (he never could). The best days of this band are gone, Andy choosed to have a simple backing band. Gone are the days of Ted, Laurie, Roger, Mark, Martin etc. - but Andy is still a great guy and player !

@sutre7 i disagree ...andy voice is cool and turners wishbone ash is a copy band-- a strange turn of event's but the 2 bands can't be compared

@gumbyonacid How can you be a 'copy band' when you perform material that you originally wrote, played, recorded and produced?

Nice bass - shame about the awful vocals. For christsakes guys get a lead vocalist who can sing!
