I don't think that Duke is as relevant today. In the late 80's and early 90's, they got a lot of calls, and the tourney committee put them in the weakest regions most every year. Those teams were more lucky than good. They shouldn't have went to a lot of those Final Fours. 1990 and 92 are the prime examples.

Indiana's Assembly Hall is the best arena period. Rupp does suck. Allen Fieldhouse is way better. Better fans, better atmosphere, better arena, better pregame video, better teams, better arena. The Phog is one of the most unique arenas. Rupp blows, they even named it after a Kansas alumni. Rock Chalk Jayhawk.

Yeah good point but in terms of NFL stadiums. It is brilliantly laid out. They have the visitors locker room about 1/4 mile farther than the home locker room. That way the away team has to walk longer leaving em only 5 minutes to strategize. Pretty smart!

Yeah and except 2001, they didn't win with any great players. They blew leads. Lose to VCU, LSU and Indiana. All of them unranked. We may have lost but 8 out of last 10 years lost to ranked opponents.
yeah espn is a reliable source for Duke. Besides UK is the best program of the 90's. Both UK and Duke have two titles and 4 final fours in the 90's BUT duke has a losing season in the 90's UK does not.
Kansas is better than Duke and Uk, um Duke beat them in the championship in 1991, and Kentucky beat them in 1998. Last time I checked Kansas has two titles, Duke and Kentucky have a combined 10 titles. Also, they are third in all time wins behind Kentucky and UNC. You don't really have an arguement now do you?

Indiana's Assembly Hall is the best arena period. It isn't a cookie-cutter dome like ALL the rest:UK/UNC/SYR/etc..it is a concrete monolith with the steepest seating in the country and it is the loudest (says Coach K)...a 94% winning percentage over 37 yrs is proof enough..it was the home of 3 natl champs and a 56 gm winning streak..nuff said..CorRuppt Arena is a tin can POS..24k or not..the home of cheating champs. These are the facts!

Rupp does suck. Allen Fieldhouse is way better. Better fans, better atmosphere, better arena, better pregame video, better teams, better arena. The Phog is one of the most unique arenas. Rupp blows, they even named it after a Kansas alumni. Rock Chalk Jayhawk.

So did the Phog. The Phog also hosted many NCAA Tournament games in addition to NBA exhibition games. We've never hosted a Final Four, but it's still the best arena. It's bigger, which makes it less unique.

The Phog owns Rupp. How old is the Phog? 53. Rupp? 31. The older, the better. The smaller, the better. Yet only 16,300 fans to shake the arena. From 1994 to 1998, Kansas won 62 straight games. Yet today we hardly lose. Kentucky calls their arena a tough place, lol. They've already lost 5 games in Rupp!

Yeah good point but in terms of NFL stadiums. It is brilliantly laid out. They have the visitors locker room about 1/4 mile farther than the home locker room. That way the away team has to walk longer leaving em only 5 minutes to strategize. Pretty smart!

All I know is Rupp sucks, Ive been there for the IU-UK game last year. Its like an NBA stadium and they constantly pump in rap music. I felt like I was at a Sonics-Hawks game....not as much passion as you would expect from UK.

yeah i'm sorry if you watched that propaganda Glory Road. UK tried to recruit black players but none wanted to play, realize that UK plays in the SOUTH eastern Conference. They had one and he quit after a road game to alabama. People try to make it look like UK was no blacks allowed when that wasn't the case at all.

well considering there was not an official natl title awarded by the NCAA back in 1924 seperate foundations awarded natl titles such as the Helms foundation much like in today d1-A college football title is awarded by a third party...i guess those dont count either? the fact is UNC was undefeated in '24 and was awarded the national title by a third party so it is legit and UNC has 5

Yeah and except 2001, they didn't win with any great players. They blew leads. Lose to VCU, LSU and Indiana. All of them unranked. We may have lost but 8 out of last 10 years lost to ranked opponents.

yeah espn is a reliable source for Duke. Besides UK is the best program of the 90's. Both UK and Duke have two titles and 4 final fours in the 90's BUT duke has a losing season in the 90's UK does not.

Kansas is better than Duke and Uk, um Duke beat them in the championship in 1991, and Kentucky beat them in 1998. Last time I checked Kansas has two titles, Duke and Kentucky have a combined 10 titles. Also, they are third in all time wins behind Kentucky and UNC. You don't really have an arguement now do you?
