  • micah is the best

    awesome moves micah :)

  • Ismael Rivera - Bilongo

  • unique and awesome!

  • Wow. I don't think I've ever seen so many haters in all my life. If you don't like what they're doing, don't dance with them. For me, she looks like a blast to dance with and he looks like he's having fun experimenting. If you dropped a comment defining salsa, you've missed the point entirely -- I don't care how long you've been dancing. Loosen up. Enjoy life. Look outside of your box every now and again.

  • They finally got their DVD out and it is off the hook! Plenty of arm tricks for any dancer at any level! Google mambofodadaz and enter LatinDanceFactory to save you some money while ordering!

  • So creative and fun. I can't wait until I get to that level :)

  • the hand tricks are so great. i wish i would learn them.

    Greetings from Holland

  • AAAAWESOME

  • The song is MANDINGA. All you so-called expert critics should know that. It is played all over NY.

It is hard for me to read all the snobish commentary. I love peace and harmony. Salsa is interracial and international. It is not limited to a few elite New Yorker Salsa police.

I love the happy hand tricks!

    Ted in Massachusetts.

  • @salsalot What a bunch of negative bitchers some of you are. Oh my gosh. I would not want to be in the same club/social as some of you. The video is just harmless, experimental, messing around fun. Get the hell over yourselves some of you. Big respect and appreciation to Ted in Massachusetts - "Salsa is interracial and international." Nicely put.

    M in UK

  • whats the name of that song

  • i'm sick and tired of reading every comment that deals with what a true dancer is, we all feel salsa in our own unique way!!!! each individual has to develop his/her own technique and interpretation of the music, as salsa dancers we must all be open to every style of salsa, even though we disagree on which style is best we must all show our respect to what people are trying to do in the salsa community

  • hey...stop sounding so miserable, like you said we all have "our own personal" opinion. if you dig this style then more power to you. maybe you're a student and are taking this personal..relax, it's not that serious!

  • nothing but to be a natural dancer, proud to be born and raised in cali colombia.............

  • the problem w/school "taught students" no dis is tht they don't seem to show that inner feeling that comes from the inside and from being latino, maybe i'm not looking deep enough...please come to the bronx, we can dance real fly!!

  • i agree

  • in this video there's 2 much time standing around waiting for the hands to get there...i would have left him in my dust.lol

  • jeepdude770 . i don't want to hate on anybody but where did all this crazy "i do my thing and you do yur thing but we're dancin' together" crap derive or evolve from? definitely NOT from NY for all of you that keep thinking that it did. i've danced in all the boroughs and have never seen such craziness and definitely wasting an awesome song by standing still and playing w/your hands hehe

  • yes i used to bug her back in the day about it and it never changed, but she learned a ton more textbook moves. that being said i know she is feeling the music its just that she cannot physically express it. maybe its the difference between a sensual latina dancer and some indian chick who decided she liked salsa in her early 20's and decided to dance with no formal training in anything else...

  • get it...nothing like a "sensual salsera" not to toot my horn but i love the way Jorjet Alcocer dance b-cuz her and i dance exactly the same. love her...go jorjet!

  • I'm not from from the Bronx, but I get you!

  • @milliemdf501 lol what school have you seen teach stuff like this?

  • @salsaguysals. I've never seen it in any school because when we learned to dance "Salsa" we got it from the streets. So you see, i don't need or ever needed a school to "teach" me how to dance. And I am a true salsera from the bronx, don't believe me, go to Gospels Uptown on 126 st. and you'll see for yourself. be easy pa!

  • loved the video.. its a social dance they are having fun and thats what its all about..besides they are professional salsa dancers they could tear the dance floor up if they wanted

  • Ok, dude... I respect your opinion... now do better.

  • can't get w/the school learned salsa...no dis to those that are really making an effort. come to NY, you'll see salsa and i don't mean in dt manhattan.

  • hahaha agreed

  • Everyone who thinks there's too much hand tricks here is wrong. This is NY style, and much like LA style it is theatrical - meaning it was meant for shows. In this style you WANT to do stuff that is cutting edge, unlike ballroom dancing where you have to be strict and - like apache78 wrote - keep balance of turns, hands, footwork. Although impressive, they are not fun! Dancing should be about having fun, to free the body and uplift the spirit.

This is one of the best salsa videos out there!!!

  • Magna looks like she has been doing the hand tricks all her life. She is at the top of Salsa dancing.

  • This is over the top, cutting edge, creative Salsa!!! We need more new ideas to keep Salsa dynamic and growing.

    Hats off to creative genious!.

  • more SICK moves

  • Sasadude.. don't get offended! lol. I know this is a hand " tricks" tutorial. I guess i'm old school... don't do too many handtricks.. might break some poor old woman's arm off.

  • u are funny!!! i agree.

  • Honestly, this does not look aesthetically pleasing and does not capture that latin groove. Way too much handwork. Salsa needs balance of turns, hands, footwork to look impressive.Keep practicing.

  • "Way too much handwork."

Honestly...not trying to be sarcastic...but did you even read the title of this video?

  • That's right.

Magna's style doesn't appeal to me.

    Lacks sensuality.

  • i agree with u

  • i totally agree apache 718. we learned "salsa" in the corners of manhattan and the bronx and the hottest salsa is when a couple are in-synk. im a dancer and it's hard enough concentrating on me never the less trying to keep an off the hook partner on my same swing, plus it looks like none of them know what they're doing and scattered. sloppy. why don't they just call it free-style salsa...that would make sense lol

  • Otherwise known as 'straightjacket dancing'. Would guys would enjoy this if it was the other way around? At least, she didn't seem to mind. Oh, well.

  • Except she looks like she can't wait for a bathroom break to let out all that laughter.

  • cool..! what is the name of this song please?

  • they are micah style tricks

  • That's Micah Boon Boon for ya - hand tricks all from his very own crazy mind:)...

    ~Leah

  • Wonderfull !!! What is the name of this stye??? Maybe !!! New york style??? uhhhp

  • They are dancing on 2 NY style...but I'm not sure where the hand tricks come from. I haven't seen them anywhere else...???

  • casino / cuban has a lot of hand tricks

  • LA has toss their hands

  • Cool tricks!

Added to favorites right away, I must learn at least a couple of those ;-)

  • nice!
