I know exactly how you feel. I too have contemplated ending it all especially when times were so tough that seemed like the only solution.
How many families are in this position? The love I have for my daughter! and my family's love gave me the strength to carry on, My daughter is now 27yrs old. I do believe however that if there were a caring Medical system in place life would be so much easier. I pray that the Gonvernment puts in place an possitive system for all. Rosa
Bless you Mum, for living with this. We have an increibly similar life - we have cared for an 18yo girl for 8 years.... we STILL wait for appropriate and complete diagnosis to provide proper medical care.... still waiting for dental care.... when she turned 18 we lost half our respite care....
This is abominable. Great - the government releases a new report identifying needs are not being met, But they ARE STILL NOT MET..... what will it take....
How many homes is this happening in every night and day? This Mum is incredible and should not have had to do this for so long!!!! May the government finally allow carers some peace in their lives.
