I enjoyed Sam Elliot's Caretaker/Carter Slade more appealing and cool then Cage's Johnny who was to silly then serious then he should have been. But Elliot's Gen. Ross from Hulk was great as well. No matter what role he's in, Sam Elliot can do it all.

This movie would have been awesome if it weren't for Nicholas Cage. The nonsensical time jump and changes to the story were just to accommodate for the fact that Nicholas Cage was too old to play the character. I really hope Marvel get's the same director back and does a Ghosty reboot.

If Carter originally ran away so that he wouldn't give the devil guy all those souls to go to hell, then why when Blackheart absorbs all those souls does johnny use his stare to send them to hell, the very thing carter was trying to prevent?

Blackheart/Legion was exceptionally powerful after he had absorbed those souls, after all
