lol the intro is really nice and well done and lively but then your voice came in which was sooo different. Anyway I loved this video and admire your screen recorder quality :)
i want to make a gif of a person, however how do you take the pictures exactly? some people have gifs of them saying "why you mad". how do you make it look like you're saying something, and people can read your lips?
is it at all possible to use this for making existing videos(like this one) into gifs? if not could you tell me of some (preferably free) software that can do this?
Thanks for this, Dylan. I have a slight problem, in that I wanted to use my newly created animated gif as my YT picture. However, the maximum size allowed on YouTube is 256kb. My gif is only around 260kb and I don't know how to resize it and YT won't upload it. Photoshop Elements 6.0 doesn't appear to work as I can't get it to recognise the animation. Is there a way I can do this?
Compressing gifs is just about impossible because a gif is already highly compressed. If anything I would suggest photoshop for this kind of task but as that didn't work there's nothing really that you can do to compress it.
Awesome app but how do i savee the GIF picture so i can post it on tumblr or facebook?

gif builder carbon is somewhat better. It converts quicktime movies into animated gifs which is more convenient for me.

@MarkPMus I can "Scale" an image on GIMP. it was a free program i was able to get.
Make sure you get GIMP 2.6.8 p1 Leopard. It is great and affective.
You can also make a GIF there, but I havent mastered composing a GIF with different images.
good luck
