Love the guitar and the music. I have downloaded all 3 of your cds and can't wait for the 4th!!! Does having the last 4 frets scalloped help with being able to play that high on the neck? If so then how? I am think of having my RG350DX's last 4 frets scalloped because I have problems hitting those frets when playing fast.

Just had my Ibanez 550? re wired by Joe Jem.

I put in an EMG SA pick up for the middle to add to my EMG 81, and 85 for the humbuckers. On top of that I had an EMG Afterburner which I highly recommend. Also added a 5 way switch and Joe did a little something special to get all the guitar to use all three pickups at the same time making the guitar unique in its self.

what is the principal you use to get such high gain and sustained tone from your rig it sounds very warm.are you using lots of compression? i know you use sowftware amps and would love to recreate your tone on my axe fx. cheers man

On the intro I'm using My Ibanez with Fernades Sustainer pickup. Thats why it sustain in that way.

The guitar have to be shipped to Bulgaria and back to you!

Also I think there will be some tax here at the customs too.

First you should ask your customs and the post office.

This will raise the price of the whole thing.

I need to pool some money together. I would definetely get it some work done. I think he did a great job on your guitar. He should have posted pics of it on his website. When I looked at your custom I was thinking that is almost exactly how I would have made it. I wish Ibanez would make some guitars that look similar, with translucent finishes on more prestige guitars. And fernandes sustainers. :)
