Excellent observation! The boat was always intended to have a main and a jib, but I was always cautiously testing each new piece of equipment. What you see here is just a test with the new mast and reefed sail. I had a jib ready to go, but never had a chance to use it. Also, the boat looks heavy, but really only weighs 200 pounds total.
