  • i want one!!!!

  • Might be a dumb question but does this hide the muzzle flash? At night?

  • @ezarr123 Not dumb at all! The suppressor is not built to be a flash hider, but with the added length onto the barrel and the baffles inside that are sucking in as much gas and "sound" as they can, it can only naturally kill some of the flash. You'll still see a small amount of flash from the muzzle at night, but it certainly wouldn't be as much as not having a flash hider on there at all!

    Hope that answers your question!

  • you want to fire a good AK that is suppressed, go to Cuba and ask them if you can shoot one their AKMs.... Their special forces use the AKMSL which is an AKMS with a Silencer and a red-dot.

  • How Much $ Is A Ak like this (Base Price) Right Out The Box Please Respond Soon Looking At Buying One and whats efdective range?

  • @Quinnstafer I have about $1100 in mine. But good luck finding one under $1300 nowadays.... They're getting pricey!!

I've shot mine effectively out to 300 yards and was hitting man sized targets nicely. I love my Krink!

  • @MauserMatt how much did you pay for the suppressor?

  • @k4r4kuzu It wasn't mine. But it's a Gemtech HALO. I don't know what they go for, but you can look them up. It's just a regular 5.56 suppressor with an AK-74 thread adapter.

  • @MauserMatt Oh dang

  • Nice, but you really don't need ear protection when firing outdoors, since the sound waves never bounce off and hurt you.

  • @DarkgaryKnight0909 There's a guy right next to my brother shooting an unsuppressed 9mm... Those DO hurt...

  • @DarkgaryKnight0909 - Ummm, yes, you do. Enough sound escapes through the gas system and out the ejection port to seriously damage your hearing - even if you are firing a suppressed weapon. The exception might be subsonic ammunition that probably won't cycle the bolt on a gas system as beefy as the one on the AK family of rifles. Even then, I would wear hearing protection. Why put yourself at risk. The deaf idiot is not the tougher guy. He is just deaf.

  • There are some really dumbass comments on this video

  • @smokybob63 I agree completely!!

Which is exactly why I made all the comments have to be approved by me... :)

  • i'll take this baby over an MP5 any day haha

  • @TheBloodyKnife1 You have to drill your topcover for a rail but an EO-Tech would be too big. Unless you have a top handguard rail.

  • can it reach out and hit a target at 400 yard away ?

  • @Vietboy1st I've hit targets at 200 yards without too much of a problem.. I don't see why 400 meters wouldn't be possible...

  • Playin black ops all day chicken nuggets by my side

  • pussy, it is supressed - so shoot it and dont touch your ears!

  • @4dresdner Well, I'll explain since the ONLY experience you have with a firearm is playing Call of Duty...

If you listen to what's around my brother while he's shooting the suppressed AKS-74U, there are people shooting pistols and other rifles WITHOUT suppressors... Since you've never shot a REAL gun, you don't understand how LOUD they are without a suppressor.....

So next time, why don't you think about what you say before you say it... Thanks...

  • @MauserMatt All i hear is maybe a slight kind of tink really cant explain

  • @MauserMatt

    i know what im saying

and i HATE cod, so keep talking

in WW2 nobody was asking about earprotection - and i do also not

  • @4dresdner It's ok.. Maybe not a CoD fan, but it's more than obvious that you know VERY little about REAL guns.. You may be a VIDEO GAME gun expert... But that's not real life bro. Guns are WAY loud enough to cause PAINFUL hearing damage. If you don't give a damn about your own hearing, that's fine. But to make fun of someone that is protecting their hearing? You're just an idiot man.. No big deal. The world needs idiots like you. I'm not worried about your hearing though. You dont own any guns.

  • @4dresdner What a bag of douche you are. Good job not noticing the unsuppressed firearms around them fuckhead. You must have been a genious in school.

  • @4dresdner You obviously have never shot a suppressed AK47 before. They aren't very quiet, and the other guns around are still un suppressed as well. Go back to playing Battlefield and COD.

  • such a sexy gun

  • What's with all the video game shit in here? This is NOT an ak74u, there's a goddamn S in there. There is no silencer, it's a suppressor; and it makes it pretty damn quiet compared to a non-suppressed Aks74u.

  • @HunterBeier also "Krinkov" is shit too.

  • @SgtZaqq How is 'krinkov', shit?

  • @HunterBeier Because Krinkov is another nickname, like AK74u.

  • @SgtZaqq First off, I never even used the word krinkov. Krinkov is a nickname referring to an ak with short handguards.

Ak74u is not a nickname, it's an incorrect designation for a weapon that has now sadly become popular just like the term clip.

  • @HunterBeier I was referring to video's name, man.

  • @SgtZaqq Okay (:

  • @HunterBeier I own several firearms, including a Century Golani (God bless it has so many damn problems) and I was starting up some "combat training" and it has little tips near the bottom when it's loading the match. It said something about how you can increase CLIP size. CLIP size.

Holy DOGSHIT c'mon it's called a MAGAZINE! MAGAZINE, NOT CLIP! Oh, and I was poking around on the "Galil" they have, they spelt "Israel" "Isreal" on the side. Jesus Christ that game is stupid as shit!

  • AK 74U <33 xD

  • Red Jacket Firearms is selling a suppressor that looks like the original soviet ones

  • That didn't sound quiet at all. Is there really a point in putting a suppressor on it?

  • silencer and extended mag :)

  • @xHITMANPRx thats a normal capacity magizine, its not extended at all, and thats a suppresor, not a silencer

  • You have to press R sometime...

  • What's the price on one of those? I mean the gun itself...

  • @racinglad Right around $1500, give or take a couple hundred... But don't forget the $200 for the tax stamp if you want the original shorty barrel...

  • @MauserMatt $1500? my brother got his for 9... %900 that is and its in great condition. of course he dident get a suppressor

  • how did you get a gemtech Suppressior on an AKS?

  • @yurik19881 Gemtech makes a HALO thread adapter specifically for the Krinkov. :)

  • @MauserMatt oh can you get an adapter for a SGL 21?

  • thats a neat head harness you got there partner

  • i love this pistol with a suppressor since it manages the recoil better...i miss my amd-65...Jason lyttle...add me on facebook

  • With AK everything is OK

  • Thats louder than my butt farts friend

  • The use of a 5,56 supressor doesn't affect accuracy?

  • cool shot song

  • U using 5.56 silencer with 5.45 gun?

isnt it dangerous or bad for the gun?

  • @HalfLife2Beta You spelled it out yourself. A 5.56 suppressor with smaller bullets going through it does not hurt it.

  • 5.45 x 39mm bullet is 5.6mm

    .223 is 5.7mm

why do you need a muffler on your car? suppressors are mufflers for guns

suppressors reduce recoil and muzzle flash

  • @HalfLife2Beta No suppressors can be used on weapons of a smaller cal. just fine now if he had a 5.56 suppressor on a ak 47 in 7.62 then i don't want to be standing near him lol

  • Ah... another nuance I'd like to mention: subson round shot from 74u won't cycle if silencer used is simply can shaped like one u have here. soviets resolved this problem by making the far end of their PBS-4 silencer less in diameter. and also russian subsonic 545 has heavier bullet i believe. so reloaded regular 545 wont cycle even with pbs4.

  • Is there any surplus (or commercial) subson 545 available?

  • @GR3B3N Wish I knew where to find some.... :-/

  • @MauserMatt nope, jus if u reload em urself

  • Poor suppressors do not close the muzzle off entirely, and air/gas escapes out the back of the suppressor, thus giving you blow back to the face when using poorly made suppressors or testing newly bought ones always wear goggles.

It also make the suppressor alot noisier than it needs to be, Original Russian suppressors have a larger expansion chamber at the base to for the AKSU.

  • i always thought the suppressor was suppose to make it sound like a car backfiring or something like that. not decrease the sound. although one of the workers at my dad's shop told me he could make a suppressor that worked so well you could only hear the gun clicking

  • DAMMIT EVERYONE, STOP CALLING IT A SILENCER! IT'S A SUPPRESSOR! If it SILENCED the gun, then we'd barely hear anything more than the firing mechanism moving, now would we? A suppressor just makes it less loud.

  • @OZombieJesus stop being picky mate. there called both.

  • @OZombieJesus

    U mad bro?

  • I was once Russian Gurlugovich soldier with suppressed AKS-74U who hijack American oil tanker in search of secret weapon. Stupid american brat does not know AKS-74U is true name. Fuck the call of duty game that brainwash child with garbage.

  • @GrandmasSaggyAssTits

    Pics or it didn't happen

  • curious, why are suppressors invented or used even though you can still hear the gun?

    havent been in the army.

  • @sport1500bullit The suppressor merely makes the sound of the rifle much quieter and reduces the flash signature of the weapon. A lot of the quietness depends on the suppressor and ammunition. A suppressor makes it much harder to judge which direction a bullet came from in an ambush type situation as well.

And the main reason I own them, is just because they're fun to have and shoot! :) That's not the most technical explanation, but I hope it answered your question.

  • @MauserMatt they also make the shots sound less like gun shots ;)

  • @sport1500bullit It preserve the hearing when you shoot weapon indoor.

  • @sport1500bullit

MauserMatt said almost everything. Plus: it reduces the distance u can hear the shoots, and a combination of suppressor and subsonic ammo makes the rifle pretty quiet. U can fin on youtube a video about a suppressed m14 EBR shooting with supersonic ammo and then with subsonic ammo. This last sounded like a "plink".

  • @MarkTools hehe, yeah i did see that video a few weeks ago nice gun.

  • @sport1500bullit there quieter with subsonic ammo and louder with supersonic ammo, therefore subsonic ammo would be the best and least heard.

  • @sport1500bullit and with subsonic ammunition it's better !

  • @sport1500bullit the suppressor works well for distance shots, as well as in any combat. Think of it this way, If everyone else is loud and proud, but your not. Doesnt that make you less noticable? In most cases unless your seen you wont be noticed over the others, Due to the fact thier loudness drowns out your suppressed weapon.

  • @catboypwns2 Makes sense..

  • @sport1500bullit Theyre for stealth. For example, if you wanna shoot a guy in 1 room without alerting someone in alerting the other room a silencer is useful cause even if the other guy hears it, he can mistake it for something else. If you shoot an unsuppresed weapon, the other guy will hear it an automatically know it was a gun shot and he will be alerted. I was never in the army, but I know a guy who was and this is pretty much all he told me.

  • @skatermaster10000 It makes sense, Thanks for the info.

  • @sport1500bullit a suppressor is used to hide a shooter position at night by minimising muzzle flash and sound caused by the release of hot gas. Also the are used by law enforcement to reduce hearing loss when used with subsonic amo. It's more of a safety device designed to increase what the military calls "survivability on the battle field"

  • @BassBlasters they also decrease fouling and increase reliability

  • @BassBlasters So the poor guy doesnt know where its coming from, haha.

  • @sport1500bullit if you had a target you wanted to pick out, say in a store that is big like costco, you could pull out your nine and do that. it wouldn't arrouse alot of suspicion untill they found the dead body. a faintly more realistic scenario is home defence. you may or may not want to arouse the neighborhood at 11 PM when your blowing the shit out of a robber. that is also why silencers are illegal in some states, like Cali.... =( people'd do exactly what i described.. homicide... etc. etc

  • @machinegunboy98 Makes sense, Costco has a lot of cameras though, haha.

  • @sport1500bullit i heard about some guy duplicating reciepts there. stole like $50,000 worth of shit. dunno if he was ever cought though.

  • @machinegunboy98 Haha, thats a large sum, ha.

  • still loud even with the silecer.

  • Looks like a great rifle i could barley hear it i was caught by the silence of the rifle and how steady it was held by the opperator the single shot seems great for conserving ammunition

  • Lol I just realized the lack of black ops fanboys on the comments page is because the title is "AKS-74U" instead of Treyarch's BS

  • @cheetok1ng470 BUTT IT'S A SUBMACHEENEGUN DUMMBY!

  • @kbizzle999 looooooooooooooooooooooooooooool. It's wrong. It have same dimension that a smg but have caliber, same for a normal ak. So it's not a smg. Smg normally use a 9mm and not a 5,45x39mm. So as a firepower it is a ASSAULT RIFLE!!!!

  • @LimpBizkitRus

    It's called sarcasm.

  • Love the Krink and the Halo.

  • Interesting, roughly how much of a decibel difference is there between a "Normal" AKS-74U and this version with the Gemtech suppressor, any idea?

  • @Schone23666 I couldn't tell ya numbers... If it hadn't been for the other non suppressed guns being shot next to my brother while he was shooting, I bet I could have been standing there without hearing protection...

  • yea...silencer increaase the recoil

  • @ImanChannel Not that I've ever noticed.........

  • @ImanChannel

    not really

  • Hey, I'm MauserMatt's brother, the person shooting in this video. I gotta say, there are a LOT of dumb people commenting on this video. Some of these comments amaze me. Sounds like a bunch of little 10 year olds that don't know anything past what they see on Call of Duty.

  • looks pretty good, ive always wanted to shoot one of these. nice vid man

  • what's the point of a full auto rifle if you only use semi

  • @fueledbyflames What makes you think it's a full auto rifle?

  • @MauserMatt he's prolly one of these black ops guys :D they don't know how stuff works in real life.

  • @MauserMatt i think he's playing to much call of duty

  • @MauserMatt because the aks 74u is full auto!

  • @fueledbyflames maybe 'cause it's the civilian version, semi only.

  • MauserMatt, where can you buy an AK-47 and an AK-74U. You seem like the right person to ask lol

  • @MrDesiballer Well. Some gunshops might be able to order you one. But I built mine from a parts kit I bought a few years ago. When just the parts were $600. Then I bought the Nodak Spud receiver, modified the full auto fire control group for semi, and of course before I put everything together, I had to get the tax stamp applied for an approved, which was another $200. Nowadays you can still find them on gun forums around the $1500 mark.

You just have to look around... :) Good luck!!

  • .atlanticfirearms

  • In order for "Silence effect," you have to use subsonic rounds. He certainly wasn't using them, because when you're firing subsonic ammo you have charge the weapon after each round is shot.

  • @JasonEB03 Depends ALOT on the type of weapon and the type of subsonic ammo being used..... 9mm with a 147gr bullet is always subsonic and it will cycle almost anything. Almost ALL types of 45 is subsonic..

  • whats the caliber of that ak?...it looks like its 5.45

  • @zincmelt

    Read the description, it's a 5.56

  • @mezzadakiller It says it was a 5.56 suppressor, not the rounds used... all AK74 variants including this one use 5.45x39

  • Damn, why don't we have such good equipped shooting ranges in my country. Would like to shoot some. Only time I shot a weapon was when I did the military cathedra, shot from an AK-74, from prone position with only 10 ammo in mag. Almost no recoil. The best part was the first shot because the next were like *clang* Pretty sweet overall!

  • @JekaZMD If you ever make it over to the US I'll let ya shoot til your hearts content...

  • Did the guy even hit the target ? :p

  • @maqusss My brother usually hits what he's aiming at with a rifle...

A little different story when he picks up a pistol LOL!

  • id like to get that setup aks 74ub full auto

  • @Dudeman2000 They're fun!!!

  • Awesome video. How's the recoil of the 74U compare to say.. I don't know, an M4 Carbine? Closely related rounds to an extent, but the full auto version of the 74U looks like it packs a punch.

  • @ShadeStalker1915

A single shot from a 5.45 packs a punch, not matter full auto. Well aimed semi auto is always better than spray and pray.

  • @ShadeStalker1915 Recoil of 5.45 is very similar to 5.56. I've fired one on full auto and it's just about the same controllability as the M4 full auto..

  • why did you put a supressor on it :(?

  • @808SeniorBeef I've been asked alot of dumb questions on this thing... But I think this one is up there in the top 5 at least......

  • @MauserMatt yeah, i def agree., cant get any stupider really

  • what did that guy say in the backround about pistols, i could not hear him over the gunfire

  • you made one yourself? thats awesome,

oh well i live in California, i also wanted to know if its

legal over here...do you know if they sell lowers of this gun

    here in CALI?

  • @purty562 California is probably the worst state to live in if you're a gun lover. Leave when you can. You are restricted to 5 round magazines, and it is very hard to get ahold of a firearm, so I'm told.

  • @HunterBeier are you freakin serious now they make 5 round mags...geez.

i knew California gun laws were fucking gay but Jesus Christ...one of these days they're gunna make BB's Guns illegal too...haha but thanxs for the info bro

  • @purty562 Yeah. You are very limited to what you can have. And lol they are already trying to do that with airsoft guns. I hear that gas blowback ar15 airsoft guns are illegal in some states. (Gas blowback refers to how it works)

  • @HunterBeier haha oh god these California gun laws are just retarded dude...

but one question do you think that they sell a lower receiver for this gun in California

  • @purty562 Yeah I know haha. I've got no doubt you could get this entire gun if you want but it either will be hard to get and/or you will have to use low capacity magazines in your house. I'm not 100% sure on the laws there.

  • The mag looks a bit loose :p

  • @Rambuzzle Dunno, maybe it is... It's someone elses Krink and their suppressor. I know MY Krinkov is tight...... :-P

  • Every fucking movie director in Hollywood should watch this. Silenced shit is still fucking loud.

  • @Chrikke666 this is not a silencer, its a suppresor...

it does reduce the noise but its meant to stop the flash from the barrel when it shoots out bullets...

  • @purty562 Its actually both. The first one made was called a silencer by its inventor Hiram Maxim. A Silencer/Surppressor is mean't to reduce noise AND muzzle flash.

  • @AdmiralGST

Maxim did not make the first suppressor, he was the first to get them evilly patented. It is documented that mountain hunters years before Maxim patented it made their own suppressors.

  • @RyanR3volution Oh, I stand corrected. I guess I'll start saying the first patented suppressor.

  • So this is basically a Carbine of the AK-74?

  • @adam648374692865 Yep.. Basically it is. Awesome little carbine it is too!!!

  • I feel stupid for asking this..lol but can suppressors just stop working? Or will it always work?

  • @daromero20 Weird question, but not stupid.. They can stop working if they malfunction. Google suppressors and look at how they work with their baffles. If you don't tighten your end cap and fire you might just shoot all your baffles out the end of your suppressor. But if you take care of it, like keep it clean, it should always work. Mine do.. :)

  • first is the akmsu in 7,62x39 mm

  • @pe6opi4a The AKMSu was never manufactured by the Russians. The Russians came out with the first shorty AK, which was the AKS-74u in 5.45x39. Then other countries that were still using 7.62x39 made their own versions of the AKS-74u...

  • use it as a sub machine gun not a pistol

  • @MASTBRANDONTHEBOSS95 What??? A "pistol" with a stock is not a pistol at all... It's a short barreled rifle. And since this one is not full auto, then it would be impossible to "use" it as a sub machine gun....

  • @MauserMatt A pistol with a stock is a Short Barreled Rifle in this country, other countries which ironically allow legal ownership with these deathmachines in this country, have more strict gun laws.

  • @AdmiralGST I believe I said the same thing you said.. Only I didn't say it as a giant run-on sentence...

Except I don't get your "deathmachines" comment?

  • @MauserMatt "deathmachines" was basically what the media lists these as. 16" barrel is okay while a 15" without proper paper work lands you in prison for 10 years like its something completely horrible.

  • @AdmiralGST True.. Unfortunately it's been like that since 1934...

  • @MauserMatt This i'm well aware of, I study firearm laws in my spare time.

  • How's the recoil compared to unsuppressed? Does the silencer increase "pressure" to where the gun recoils more harshly? Would it help to have a recoil buffer in place? Also what kind of adaptor did you use for the suppressor?

Sorry about all the questions. I am hoping to have a Krink built sometime in the future that I am planning to suppress, but I want to get it right the first time. Any Suggestions? Oh except I was thinking it would be 7.62x39 instead of 5.45.

  • @Otacon237 I didn't notice any additional recoil. I will say that gases do get blown in your face from under the topcover.. Not too bad... But you do notice it.

When we put a recoil buffer in my brothers Krink it had failure to feeds... Short strokes. So him and I both don't run buffers on our Krinks...

Good luck with your purchase! You won't be disappointed with any caliber of Krink!!

  • @MauserMatt Awesome, thanks for the info!

  • fuckign pussies just empty the whole clip stop bursting it

  • @ghillieman24 You're a fucking idiot.. It's not a clip, it's a mag. And it's not a full auto machine gun.. So he wasn't bursting it and he can't just empty the MAG with one pull of the trigger... He was firing it accurately on semi-auto. Something they teach you in the Army.

    Dumbass...

  • @MauserMatt lil pussy just empty da clip stop burstin it like a bitch and making excuses

  • @ghillieman24 Wow... You're what? 10 years old with this shit? Most people leave their dumbass comment and leave.. But fuck man... You REALLY want to be a fucking retard don't you?? Whatever man.. As you can see, I'M the one with the guns.. Tell ya what, we can have a discussion face to face if you ever want to when I get back from Afghanistan.. You bet your punkass self wouldn't know what to do with a US Army certified ass kicking.. Don't worry man. I'm not losing any sleep over you.

  • @MauserMatt well said mate!

  • @MauserMatt i know i hate kids that thank guns shoot like in video games and movies they do things to make the game fun not real

  • @MauserMatt lol nice one bro over that ghillieman24,

anyways so yeah this is the smaller, carbine of the AK-74?

how much was this little beast? oh yeah where did you purchase it?

  • @purty562 Yep, that's correct. Just a smaller version of the AK74.

This one here isn't mine, but the one I built was out of a parts kit. I think I paid $600 for the kit and $90 for the receiver. Then of course since it's a short barreled rifle, I had to pay the $200 for the tax stamp. Money well spent if you ask me...... :)

  • @MauserMatt did you but the receiver already formed?

  • @vampire847 Not for the Krink in this particular video. But my personal Krink I did buy the receiver.. From Nodak Spud. I just assembled from there.. (After I got the tax stamp approved of course....)

  • @purty562 Ak 47 is 7.62x39 Ak 74 is the smaller 5.45x39 So alittle smaller then 5.56 round, The Russians have completely switch to 74 round. I dont know the law around you guys, But Here We have to have a special license to own a Assault Rifle that short. I would do anything to Own an Ak 74su

  • @scorpioncrow you live in Commufornia too?

well im trying to buy a krinkov as well, i'll do anything as well to own this gun, even if its paying the tax & everything.

  • @scorpioncrow

You don't need a liscnes to own a SBR, all you need is a $200 tax stamp and a ATF bg check. Last time I checked, a assault rifle is selective fire and fires an intermediate round, so this is not a assault rifle in the vid.
