I love this commercial - it explains land rover perfectly without (literally) explaining land rover at all.People might ask why I own a vehicle with a 37.2 degree approach angle, or a 28" water fording depth...these are features which are tucked away beneath a vehicle that already does everything your average car does. If you feel so inclined, or want to take the road less traveled..it'll do it. Every time, no questions asked. Blizzards, towing, rock crawling..or parked in front of a night club.

Life might force you to sit through hours of traffic Mon-Fri, or deal with condescending BS from a boss every day of the week - things might seem ordinary and calculated, which is the way everyone with a civic or a minivan lives their life - those are perfect vehicles for that type of self-imprisonment. For those of us who want to break the mold and pull out of rush-hour traffic going anywhere.. doing anything, a land rover will take us there

What an awful commercial. A commercial is supposed to sell a product. A commercial should not be 2 minutes of cliche ramblings and incoherent images that have nothing to do with the product in any sense whatsoever.

Land Rovers aren't for everyone, nor are they meant to be, but for the market who will actually buy them, and use them, this commercial hits the mark perfectly.  I think it's great, thanks for posting.

The commercial doesn't leave me wantin or desiring, rather it makes those who cannot afford a land rover wantig and desiring. And myself, seeing that desire in the eyes of those not as well of as myself, well, again its self gratification. I'd venture to say any bloke like those shown in this ad (investment banker type) is smart enough to see through the tired cliches this ad proposes

I still love this original, but wanted to pay homage to it. I hope LR will not forget the spirit of adventure which is the heart of the brand as they change and expand the line for a wider audience who may never know what these vehicles can do or where they can take you.

But I will call you out on bad info... the lowest end Land Rover is about 35K, the wrangler you mentioned sells for about 33K on average, not quite "half the amount" my friend. Don't know why that matters... but there you go.
