air cadets i waay better. we have standards, and morale. in army cadets you don't get much professionalisim. In sea cadets... well we won't even go there. air cadets gives you the oppertunity to do things like flying.. You can get your pilots liscense for free through air cadets. In army cadets... ooh! aah! you crawl in the mud! at air cadets we get paid to go to summer camp. this summer i got $124.00. AIR CADETS FOR THE WIN!!!! :D

@LongboardIsland Ja. I joined when I was turning 14. Sure, you don't get much opportunity when it comes time to go to camp and you don't get to really high ranks, but its worth it.

There are no bad kids. But there are a few who just might need a little boost in becoming all they can. Air Cadets did that for me. :)

I was a kid in the 60's, I found the Air Cadets and I never looked back.

The Air Cadets granted me a gliding scholarship in 1974 and since then I earned my pilot licence. I've since piloted Cessna 150's, 172's,182's, Citabria's, hang gliders and homebuilts. If you want to fly beyond your wildest dreams, the Air Cadets is a ticket in. If someday flying as a pilot inverted at an air show sounds cool to you. Just show up, work hard, and learn to fly yourself to the edge of space. Yes You Can!

My son's turning 12 soon and I need to get him into something that will turn him around. Its been hard raising him.He's starting to disobey, and act extremely rude and offensive...almost like he's entitled to the world without having to work for it. I want to see if "air cadets" can somehow turn him into more of a positive mode (school's important, learning is fun, parents are respected...etc.) can u lend me your thoughts, on the program and provide that insight as to whether this can work.

I'm pretty sure it's mostly a war between Army and Air and Sea is just caught in the middle of it all. I'm an aircadet myself and I know my squadron hates the army cadets in our town but we get along with the sea cadets just fine.

No. We're all the same. At least we should be. I'm in the Air cadets and everytime when I see an Army or Sea Cadet (or group) I try to make friends but umm sometimes it just doesn't work. But I like to think of them as good people. I respect sea cadets and army cadets:)

if you say that air cadets suck. then your saying cadets suck. and cadets rules. now can't we all get along all elements have their strengths. Maybe what you are dising the other element for may not be all of their weakneses. Someone said that sea cadets are slack but maybe the only ones you saw were. You can believe what you want too. I think that ALL cadets are awesome and shouldn't be judged a whole(or judged at all) but critisized on an individual bases . XD lol

I'm an Air Cadet from the UK, and funnily enough I've never heard anyone mouthing off. All I get are Sea Cadets and Army Cadets trying to boast how amazing they are. All I see is you saying how we suck and that the sea cadets are better.

Take, it easy people, think about what you are writing, you are representing your units, and element, it only reflects poorly on them when this sort of trash is written. All elements have there pros and cons, suck it up and admit it don't go publicly defacing th CCM. Act like the leaders you are supposed to be, do the right thing.
