my mistake, she was also beat with a belt, not as uncommon as one would think. Also contrary to your opinion, I do know how it is to have a tough life, tough is an understatement BTW, you latch onto an idea, though or memory that gives you the motivation to keep going, not because the idea is strong but because it is all you have and gives you the gift of knowledge knowing that life can be better and it's the end.
