What a great vid, Grzegorz !! i love ur vids and specially this kind of social compromise... Remember the gratitude from the good hearted spanish people in spanish civil war against fascists !! we have a great debt with you ...
Wspaniałe wideo, doskonała konstrukcja opatrzona jak zwykle przemyślanymi napisami, porusza serce miłoscią do naszej ciągle targanej nienawiścią, zdradą i niestety, głupotą, Ojczyzny.Dziękuję za ten piękny film.
This video is beautiful and heart constricting. My dear friend, Ingrid Pitt, born of a German father and a Polish Jewish mother, escaped from a Polish concentration camp with her mother, and travelled to England mostly on foot. She just passed away a few weeks ago. My matka, my darling, she was a beautiful actress, (Where Eagles Dare) but she suffered enough for 10 lifetimes. This made me think of her.
@enigmamelodies It is a very moving story, thank you! I only would like to ask you to avoid calling "Polish", the German concentration camps. Poland never constructed any of these German inventions. Poland was attacked by Germans in September 1939 and occupied until 1945. Therefore, Poles were first to be murdered in Auschwitz, Majdanek, Birkenau and other such places ever since first of these camps were built on territory of occupied Poland by German engineers, starting from April 1940.
Of course, you're right. I am deeply sorry for having misspoken. I am a writer, yet sometimes, my mind goes faster than fingers can fly. In this case it is desperately important that words are so very carefully used - i never meant the camps were 'Polish.' There are no single words hideous enough to convey the atrocities Poland suffered at the hands of the Germans - exactly why your videos are so moving and so important. Thank you for your exquisite work.
@enigmamelodies Hello again :-) Ofcourse, in my reaction there was no trace of thought, you might have used that term in purpose! However, such expression begins to appear on pages of renowned international presses, e.g. NYT, Le Monde or Corriere della Sera so Poles get oversensitive hearing this harmful term, ever since. Hopefully, it's merely a result of generational change among journalists. Often, the younger lack finesse and intellectual discipline in thinking about past. Thanks! :-)
Moving tango and excellent, affecting images evoking the sad history of Poland which, in spite of being indisputably the victim of double aggression, lost such a large part of its territory after WW II.
@dzheger Hi David, the balance of gains and losses in territory is about 1/3rd less than before September 1939. Just imagine these boys who had been deported from Lwów or other East Poland's towns and were paying such contribution of their blood and lives because they believed they did all this for the sake of their happy return to theitr beloved places - when they got news about Teheran & Yalta conferences, where their motherland territories were forever assigned to Russia...
Hello Grzegorz - this Tango, Fogg's delivery, your artwork - are totally magnificent!
Tango' s spirit has sadness in its essence and - of course - Tango conveys eternal Beauty and Love - which strike a strong cord in all of us - Tangueros and Tangueras!
I am sorry that Polish people suffer so much from Russia - Jewish people also suffer from all kinds of terrorists and assorted global bandits. At any rate - thanks a million - and don't forget to click on my story website on my chanel page!!!
Thank you for this Reminder of the continuous plight of the Poles and this haunting melody with the perfect lyrics and beautiful vocal by the Fabulous Fogg.
This haunting tango is a moving tribute to all those who never were back after the war, at least not alive...

Poland is really the country of Tango, as Argentina. This is a very sad story, but a very nice tango. So bad I didn't understand Polish...
During Phoney War, many Polish soldiers came in France for fighting.
Thanks for sharing.

@camille885 Yes, as you may noticed, one of photos of the Polish soldiers was made in Falaise, during the struggle for Normandy in August, 1944
