I just realized something. "spargi in terra quella pace che regnar, regnar tu fai, tu fai nel ciel", ok, no problem.
if you put the words in order, you get "spargi in terra quella pace che tu fai regnar nel ciel".
but the aria ends with a repeated "tu fai nel ciel" after a run on "ah si". this doesn't make sense. you can't separate regnar from tu fai. So it should end with "re-e-gnar ne-el ciel". IMHO

@wattever333 It was posted on another site, that the people in the choruses were awe-struck that they were on stage with Callas. I don't know if that's true, but if you see some of the documentaries of Callas, where she is mobbed by the press, and read that she was revered as if the Queen of England, there might be some validity to that statment.

Ok honestly some of the comments on this video are beyond me and I cannot believe anyone would disgrace this video with such disrespect. Whether or not you like Callas' voice there is absolutely no way anyone can say she was not one of the best singers of all time. And that this is an incredibly beautiful, emotional and breathtaking performance.

I know there are technically better opera singers and it is hard to compare nor should we. But what I like about Maria Callas is the passion in her voice which to me is unique to her.
