Rules and regulations apply to the weak and poor but not the rich and strong. I have endless things to say about Egypt and none of them are positive. I'm not being racist or anything but thats the sad truth

Hosni Mubarak will always be supported by the West as long as he maintains the pro-Western stance of his regime. The possibility of the popular Muslim Brotherhood being elected scares the West especially because of their continued anti-Western stance and opposition to the peace deal signed with Israel. Egypt's Suez Canal is also vital to trade there is no way the West would risked being blocked or charged more to use it simply because there not a Muslim country.

Well this is clear example of voter intimidation. And no, these are not isolated incidents. These incidents that Al-Jazeera is showing are spread across Egypt in almost every big city according to Reuters news agency. The ruling party feels threatened and uncertain about the outcome of the elections, and it is doing whatever it needs to do (like unleashing their thugs to intimidate voters on elections day) to win these legislative elections.

I know, ppl. are going to say bad things about Egypt now. This is 1 polling station. Frankly, I am surprised. I was in Cairo years ago; and the police were extremely friendly. They didn't know I was foreign either. So, I hope this is viewed as an isolated incident. Not an indictment of Egyptian law enforcement or Egypt as a whole.

Read how the Police arrested repenting ex-convicts yesterday&ordered them 2prepare 2beat ppl up in election day
