Good intro, but also let the public know: do not pet guide dogs while they are in harness; a person must have great orientation and mobility skills with a cane before he or she can get a guide dog; typically the potential owner must be at least 18; and if you see a blind person being turned away from a restaurant because of his or her guide dog, that is ILLEGAL. Inform the restaurant staff and management. It is good for them to learn sighted people are knowledgable about this as well!
