The Vikings always avenge their NFC Championship losses. This year will be no different. Sure, the season opener doesn't compare to an NFC Championship, but the fact that the Vikings will win SB 45 kind of makes up for the loss last year. Vikes will win, Favre will retire, all will be good in the Vikings Nation. Then we'll sweep that 2009 loss to the Saints under the rug.

@tjmgold bring it on, boys. Even if you pull a win out of your collective asses (you won't) it wouldn't change anything. Hell, you guys defeated Atlanta in the season opener following the 98-99 NFC Championship. Yet to this day, mention that game to a Vikings fan and they react like Dracula seeing a cross.
No matter what Spet 9 brings, the score will forever record Saints 31 - Vikings 28.
By the way, at least we'll HAVE a SB banner. Hell, in 5 years, you may not even have a TEAM...lol

@yeaheverday First of all you should READ what I WROTE .I was only clarifying your inaccurate statment about the distance of a field goal. My second point is that longwell made over 85% of his fieldgoals in 09. Six of them 50+ yards.That being said I(as a saints fan.. you seem to think me a vikings fan) would not have felt good about our chances with longwell kicking a 50 yarder. I don't know why other saints fans like you have such a tough time admitting the vikings choked a little.

@yeaheverday I'm not saying a 50 yarder was going to be a gimmie... but had it not been for favre throwing the pick (being honest with myself) there is probably a 70% chance longwell makes the game winner. Therefore im glad Favre made sure It did not come to that. And the pick did not come down to Favre not wanting to run because he was hurt. He wanted to make an awsome pass so everyone would jerk him off some more about how great he is... instead he is a goat.

I noticed the silhouette of a camera on the wall so maybe one of them is a Video fan, which explains why they would record this moment. He seems to have a good relationship with his daughter which is always a good thing. As a life long Packer fan I'd like to thank them for posting this video, because when I'm feeling a little down I like to watch it as a pick me up.
