But, a theory cannot be a theory without atleast some truth to it. Evolution is a theory that happens to supported by a multitude of facts. To believe in Evolution. It is a study of how life orginated on Earth from unicelluar organism that were introduced to our primitive environment 4.6 billion years ago. It is only a segment of a timeline, seeing as it only explains from then until now. I guess you can say it's "filling in the gap". Anyone can look at the applied science in the Evolutionary Theory and believe it regardless of their ethnic or cultural beliefs. The Big Bang theory is an entirely different theory.
