Hear hear on that Church comment. We went from a Church where our kids were perceived as among the behaviorally-issued... to a Church where our kids were the best behaved, and I found myself judging the other parents about THEIR kids. Had to check myself quick on that one.
I think we want external compliance at the expense of inner drive. And we train up religious kids with no RELATIONSHIP with God.
