well no youre wrong in a sense, in this case yes the music video is shit, but it doesnt mean that dubstep music videos do not work, sure they do, if you make it right

same goes for book adaptations, lots of great films were made as adaptations to a novel for ex. Fight Club, as well as lots of good books were made into complete shit adaptations

so it all depends, when it comes to things that involve creativity and production value you cant really generalize like that

A few years ago its visual style was more similar to reggae and hip-hop.. it was digital like most new hip-hop and slow and chill like all reggae songs.. now they even make parties with goa AND dubstep playing at the same night same club, so yeah. You better know the history of a style before you open your mouth. =)
