  • AXL ROSE HAS ONE OF THE MOST POWERFUL, BEAUTIFUL AND SUITABLE VOICE IN ROCK HISTORY, MOTHERFUCKERS!!!!

  • I agree with your whole list with different rankings though.

  • Dio and Steve Perry should both be No.1

  • AXL NEEDS BE NUMBER2

  • @SASYAMX YOU ARE WORGY

  • Steven Tyler before Plant? wtf?

  • axl rose is a little bitch.. no joke

  • DUDE GO CHECK YOURSELF BON SCOTT, BRUCE DICKINSON, RONNIE JAMES DIO AND AXL ROSE ARE WAY BETTER THEN FREDDIE

  • Why does Layne Staley always get snubbed from all these lists i see. He clearly had far greater and talent and range than most of these other singers.

  • Here is my take: 1. Freddie Mercury, 2. Robert Plant. 3. Jim Morrison, 4. Mick Jagger, 5. Axl Rose, 6. Bon Scott, 7. Josh Todd 8. Scott Weiland 9. Vince Neil 10. David Lee Roth

  • HALFORD!!!!!Yessssss!!Always and forever,the Best at #1.

  • @wkunderwood2003 .....FREDDIE MERCURY!!!!!

You're adorable....such a copycat.....but there's just one thing, you keep messing up on the name....it's FREDDIE!!!

  • FREDDIE!!!!!! Yessssss!! Always and forever, the Best at # 1.

  • approvo tutta la lista tranne che Dio e Freddy mercury al primo posto. E secondo me manca il mitico Kurt Cobain!

  • WTF!! DIO 8?? BRUCE DICKINSON 7?? THEY ARE THE BEST + FREDDY MERCERY AND JAMES HETFIELD AND AXL ROSE AND CURT COBAIN

  • OMG!!! 27 DISLIKES!!! KURT DIED AT 27!!! OMG....

  • cobain is not that great discriptinon

  • milli from steelheart blows freddie away...mili hits vocals that are sick

  • DIO 8 FUCK YOU AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHA

  • Freddie is Number One Then and Now! No one has ever come close! We still love you Darling!

  • @MsSweetunes your messed up

  • Number 1 is FREDDIE.......and then there's everybody else!

  • Freddie---->>>The Best!!

  • FREDDIE MERCURY!!!!!! Who else.......? lol

Freddie is / was / and will forever be the most awesome & best ever!!!!!

No front man can ever compare!

  • YAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY steven Tyler :)

  • Well I'd say Freddie is and should be, best for rock vocalist and best front man. He had a more versatile and powerful voice than any of them, at all ranges. Number two though, should be Robert Plant for vocals, and number one for influence. I think Roger Daltrey should be on this list too. I'm not gonna give you crap though, nice list!

  • @jasonite thanks

  • DIO should be NO1 on this list!

  • Yeah but tou don't know Phil Lynott the best singer ever.

  • mmmm bruce dickinson is the best... and I guess you forgot Kurt Cobain,.. Axl Rose out... Freddy Mercury is good... but not the best!

  • I would have put Dickinson a little bit higher in your chart...

  • bon scott is much better than axel rose, RIP BON SCOTT <3

  • You have the same top two as me ^_^

  • How can you put that pickle chugger Paul Stanley before Dio and Ozzy .

  • bow to the metal god....rob halford is the greatest singer of alll timeeeee..........

  • layne staley from alice in chains.. ;)

  • @reetype totally agree layne staley should be on this list....still believe that one day he's gonna get the credit that he deserve

  • Klaus meine is beter than Dio or paul stanley

  • and where is Ian??? i shouldn't wate my time on you,i'm outta here...

  • dio #8? yeah,nice joke man,i get it...

  • yuo forgot James Hetfield men

  • axl rose's voice is shit

  • Have to distinguish front man from vocalist here, the title for the vid is wrong its a 'Top Front Man List', not top vocalist.i.e. Ozzy has nowhere near the set of pipes Dio or Chris Cornell has but he was a superior front man in a much more influential band. Axl Rose again great front man. On technical vocal merit a Top Rock Vocalist list should include Dio, Cornell (Soundgarden), Rogers (Free), Layne Stainley (Alice n Chains), Geoff Tate (Queensryche) & Eric Adams (Manowar).

  • Switch Ozzy with Axl!

  • I don't think it's saying too much to declare Robert Plant the greatest (hard) rock singer of all time. He could do absolutely anything! I love Freddie and all the others, but none of them generated the kind of iconic body of work Plant has. That's all, I guess... Plant is the best rock singer of all time (but Bon Scott was the best front man).

  • David coverdale ;;;;

  • Finally someone Got # 1 right.. If you ever saw Queen in concert. You would know, That this is 100% correct.... all of the rest are arguable. and many of them are Great.... But #1 is Correct..... as well as the Best Rock Band of all time and the best Live performance !!!!

Rock on Everyone..... Rock will never die !!!!!!

  • this list is no good anyway, u put rock singers with metal singers!

  • # 8 REALLY!!

  • Bon Scott is good but he cant hold a candle to Dio and axl rose should not be mention in the same breath with Dio!

  • there is a lot of great singers out there but nobody like Ronnie James Dio.#1

  • Bon Scott ! The voice of Rock'n'roll

  • sorry but none of them is as good as rip layne staley

  • where is SERJ TANKIAN?..

  • Where the hell is Johnny Gioeli at?!

  • @87TheProdigy87 this was made 3 years ago and i have said this before bt if i was going to do one today this wouldn't be the same list, i agree that bruce is better than axl as far as vocal skill but i still prefer axl mostly because the pre 1994 songs of gnr sound much more appealing to me than most of the iron maiden songs. The ones in bruces solo albums are really good 2 just not as much chemistry going on compared to the old gnr

  • @87TheProdigy87 Axl Rose its the best fucking frontman whether you fucking like or not ,if you know something about music then do your fucking research dipshit ,Axl ROse has one of the best fucking voices of rock n roll but what do you fucking know?? who the fuck are you?? fucking idiot

  • @nothingcomes4free well you just proved how much of an idiot you are by calling me an idiot for stating my opinion, you also prove your idiocy by telling me to do my research lmfao what a joke that is ive been listening to metal and rock music for the last 20 years, doing research wouldnt change my view on axel rose dumbass he has a awefully annoying voice, and your probably only about 18 so shut up kid, ill remove my original comment so i dont get retards like you replying

  • hahaha Dickinson in 7th haha good joke that is mate, hahaha good one

  • oops you accidently forgot steve perry o well guess u did the same with the lead singer from whitesnake and yes but it is ok we all know that they blew up your computer before you could put them on :)

  • good list, I also like Vince Niel, Phil Collins, Joey Ramone, Mark Knopfler, David lee Roth.

  • ROFL

you put Steven Tyler before Bon Scott....are you mentally impaired? Bon S is numero uno, having said, Rob P #2 , Gillian #3 drill the fkn wax out of your ears.

  • @mikehunthertzhmmmkay only a mentally retarted man would make his point like that

  • @mikehunthertzhmmmkay you should listen to more music idiot

  • А где Рассел аллен, Майкл Киске, Энди Дэрис, чо так на старом пидорасе -то все сошлось?) Извини)()()(

  • :O WTF no Halford? my mind just got raped

  • yeah :D

  • What about Steve "The Voice" Perry? Ted Nugent? And in my own personal opinion, Gene and Brian are better singers than Paul and Bon

  • Dio number 8?!?!??!?!

    Fuckturd

  • It is not fair to judge a 66 year old singer just because he did not age well, that is preposterous...being fair would be to judge from their beginning up to 15-20 years at the most . After that if they are around and still singing nobody can expect them to sound the same. Even worse for leavin out Ian Gillan on such a pitiful excuse.

  • Awesome selection but you left out one of the ten best ever and that is Ian Gillan.

  • Alx Rose, Steven Tyler and Freddy Mercury!! Triple COMBO!!

  • incedible freddie!

  • I agree about Steven, but you really chose a bad song to present his talent

  • ronnie fuckin dio

  • David Lee Roth would have been my choice over Bon Scott. I think Roth's range is a bit larger than Scott's. Just sayin...

  • el mejor vocal graham bonnet y jet scot soto

  • a mi respecto faltan muchos y los mejores pero igual el listado es bueno saludos brother

  • Ive got one word for you : Ronnie James Dio !!

  • COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOBAAAAAAAIN

  • quite good choice - however, you "simply forgot" the one who is still considered (worldwide) as one of the best rock voices since 30 years : LOU GRAMM !!!!! (Foreigner)

  • Bruck Dickinson should have been higher up on the list, just saying...

  • Very good but what about Kurt Cobain and David Lee Roth

  • whats the song that dio sings? i forgot the name could anyone please tell me?

  • Bruce Dickinson should be number one.......no one in this list can hold a note as long as he can......and where the fuck is David lee Roth?!?!?

  • DONDE ESTA SEBASTIAN BACH POR DIOSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS NO LO PUEDO CREER

  • No Paul Rodgers really !!! Thats the singer that every one of these pretenders claims as an influence.

  • 1. Freddie Mercury 2. Ian Gillan 3. Robert Plant 4. Chris Cornell 5. Paul Stanley 6. Steve Tyler 7. Ann Wilson 8. Roger Daltrey 9. Layne Staley 10. Steve Perry *In 20 years, Chester Bennington of Linkin Park will be on this list. Hate him all you want, he can fucking sing.
  • Paul Stanley...REALLY?

  • Why isn't David Gilmour Even mentioned here Guys? :)

  • Your top three was spot on in my opinion, but I really don't think that Axl Rose should have even been on the list. I respect your opinion though.

  • @xHumanCentiPadx axl used to be a good singer back in the 90s bt now he is rubbish:P

  • @simon199418 I never thought he was good in terms of sheer vocal skill. That's just my opinion though.

  • @simon199418 you should see his recent live videos, he's getting good again now, and i think that axl was good throughout '86-'91 but starting 92, his voice jst started sucking

  • Comment removed

  • kurt cobain is the best

  • ok guys fredie gaycury can suck my dickkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk layne stayle is the better idiotsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

  • you need james hetfield!

  • @DiscoSasquatch1 the list is about the top vocalists/singers not the top frontmen. hetfield can't sing so he doesn't fit the category

  • Robert Plant And Of Course Ozzyyyyyyyyyy

  • Robert Plant is the best ever...

  • Dio should be first for sure...

  • 1 Axl

    2 Bon Scott

    3 Robert Plant

    4 Bruce Dickinson

5 Freddie (he had lower volal range than Axl, Mercury - 3.5, Rose - 5)

  • Freddy 1st...fair. But where's Dan McCafferty?

  • Dio,Klaus Menie,Bruce Dickinson,Axl can sing any Gillan "best "song.without falseto by the way

  • il migliore ian gillan!!!!!

  • Finally!! Someone with a clue! Thanks, I thought no one intelligent made these lists.

  • OMG!!!! AXL ROSE always has and always will be THE BEST, there are no discussions that he has the highest vocal extension and the most beautiful voice in the world!!

(OMG!!!! AXL ROSE sempre foi e sempre será o melhor, não há discussões que ele tem a maior extensão vocal e a voz mais linda do mundo!!)

  • Comment removed

  • DIO should be number 1!!!!

  • @arrival35 no! DIO is #1

  • farst dio man

  • where is robb halford ?

  • paul stanley should

     #1 not #6

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!OMFG!!!Fuck you!

  • chingones.. estos si cantan no como la mierda con silicones k nos quieren vender hoy !

  • Oddly none of these guys could sing Gillan's best songs

  • @dplzgb101 gillan can't sing well any more,(i saw him live 4 months ago) k he is 65 but tyler is also around that age and he has aged much better, that's why i did not include him,

  • @dplzgb101 Gillan is the one and only.

  • Steven tyler should be # 1!!!!

  • I hate these comparisons, every singer has / had charm and the most famous succeeded because they were / are popular among the people and every one person you draw a very different chart!!!

  • paul stanley should be number one. for 60 something years old, that man can sing better than anyone i know! gotta love bon scott though

  • @acdcbug2012 i think i over rated him, just saying....

  • 1 sammy hagar

    2 Bon scott

    3 axl

    4 Ozzy

    5 Robert Plant

  • @MrJohnyhandsome I AGREE!!! SAMMY HAGAR IS#1 !!!!

  • 1-freddie

    2-Bruce Diickinson

    3-Rob Halford

  • Ian gillan is the best rock vocalist ever. and Tarja Turunen

  • It's funny how a lot of these lists consist mainly of high pitched singers.

  • No Michael Matijevic?? This is more like a top 25 list, with several names missing out of the top 7.

  • @diamonds1399 how the hell should i know this croatian guy? (had to use wiki) i am not rock Wikipedia man, it pisses me off when people demand a person to be put into my list, especially when i don't even know who he is. If u don't agree with it then make one of ur own and post a vid response, no offense but it just one of the things that piss me off

  • @simon199418 dude, he moved to the US when he was 6. So he is really more American then anything. Plus I wasnt ripping on you. Nor did I have intent of pissing you off. In my opinion, I was letting you know there were other names out there. So, again my opinion, you learned something new, and maybe if you listened to Steelheart, you may put him on your next list. Not asking you to add him either. Thats your choice.

  • @diamonds1399 k cool, mabe i over reacted man and ur right i did learn something new

  • Jim Morrison instead of Axl Rose, then it's fine

  • @JuuHoo1 i'll toast to that, bt he contributed to one of the best albums of the 90s , that's why he is up there

  • freddie mercury is a good number 1 but i think that you could have used a better example

  • FORGOT KURT HOW COULD YOU FOET HIM WTF???

  • The best list Ive so far seen on YT..!!

  • FREDDIE MERCURY IS THE GOD OF ROCK .NUFF SAID

  • Freddie is best obiously because he was rock but had the talent of a opera singer.

  • 1 bruce period end of story

  • 1) Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden)

    2) Rob Halford (Judas Priest) (Misc. other bands)

    3) RJ Dio (Dio) (Black Sabbath)

    4) Bon Scott (AC/DC) R.I.P.

    5) Would say Ozzy but I have no respect since he agreed with Sharon about Screwing up Maidens Concert in 05'' at Ozzfest (Ozzy Osbourne) (Black Sabbath)

soo....... I'll say Matt Shadows (Avenged Sevenfold)

  • freddie mercury is insane in vocal! he can sing everything, yes even opra!

  • lol not a fan of Iron Maiden? uh....im very confuseed....Iron Maiden are amazing! i love Bruce's solo carrer to! i have all 6 albums of his. In Terms of voice quality though and strength, you cant deny that Bruce is superior to steven

  • @TrueIronMaidenFan dude i like maiden, its just that i can't listen to them all day without getting bored, that's why i dn't consider myself a big fan anyways lets just say that steven and bruce cannot be compared much cs maiden are a lot harder and heavier than aerosmith, although bruce makes some very nice slow songs as well but it isn't what he is well known for

  • lol Bruce Dickinson #8? hes the greatest of all! even better then the gifted Mercury. I love Paul stanly and i actuely saw him live a couple years ago and you know what? he was fricken great, but ahead of Bruce and Dio? i mean serisly man!

  • @TrueIronMaidenFan k u have a point bruce has a better voice bt this is how they mostly make me feel. Actually how they made me feel 2 years ago, right now my order is kinda different

  • @simon199418 oh cool, how would your list go now?

  • @simon199418 actuely tell me your top 10 favorites and top 10 in terms of talent

  • 1 freddie, 2 steven 3 bruce (bt very close to 2nd) 4 chris cornell 5 dio 6 plant 7 bon scott 8 axl 9 ian gillian 10 paul

this is according to talent and my favourite now are:

1 shaun morgan from seether 2 dave grohl 3 bruce 4 chris cornell 5 steven 6 freddie 7 kurt cobain 8 ozzy 9 paul 10 bon scott

  • @simon199418 um...Steven Tyler is a better singer then Bruce Dickinson? in terms of Range, Stage Presence, Live Vocals, Strength, and Quality Bruce is superior. im very confused by that. Freddie Mercury is amazing so i wont give you shit about that. in terms of talent here it is for me, and 3-6 are all about tied 1.Bruce Dickinson 2.Geoff Tate 3.Ronnie James Dio 4.Ian Gillan 5.Rob Halford 6.Freddie Mercury 7.Jorn Lande 8.Chris Cornell 9.Klaus Meine 10.Eric Adams
  • @TrueIronMaidenFan thing is i am nt a big maiden fan,i just feel like Steven made a few more great songs rather than Bruce, although i like Bruce's solo albums a lot more than maiden

  • ofcourse it's Freddie!!! He's always #1 !!

  • @sugarfreddie heh i find it amusing that the best rock and roll singer is actually a homo but hey what's wrong with that anyway?

  • Freddie Mercury is the best. period.

  • Jim Morrison?

  • are you seriesley trying to imply that Axl Rose and Paul Stanly are better singers then Bruce Dickinson? Bruce Dickinson is the greatest singer of all time and much better then Freddie Mercury and every other singer you put ahead of him. TOp 10 is hard so here is a solid top 5

    #1.Bruce Dickinson

    #2.Ian Gillan

    #3.Geoff Tate

    #4.Ronnie James Dio

    #5.Rob Halford

  • are you seriesley trying to imply that Axl Rose and Paul Stanly are better singers then Bruce Dickinson? Bruce Dickinson is the greatest singer of all time and much better then Freddie Mercury and every other singer you put ahead of him

  • I hit my funny-bone, because I did a little victory-fist-pump when I saw Freddie was number one.

  • WHYYYYYY IS CHRIS CORNELL NOT ON MOST OF THESE TOP 10 LISTS???

no offense, but Ozzy is a terrible vocalist, and terrible frontman, and yet he makes most of these lists. Honestly, Chris has an AMAZING voice. Why the hate? And the idea of Kurt Cobain as an amazing VOCALIST is a terrible idea. He'd have hated it too. It just wasn't his gift.

  • @MrJcass10 I agree with everything you said except that I do think that ozzy is a great frontman (not much of a singer like you said).

  • @draconian92173 well i was at donnington 84' and saw ozzy live, he wa sin his prime dude have you ever seen him live? my bet is no cause you wouldnt have said anything like that.

  • R.I.P BON SCOTT <:) WE will always remember you. THUMBS UP IF YOU AGREE.

  • what about rob halford???!?!?!?!!!?!!?!?!?!!
