Sentinel is the least of of my worries in this game with all the new character threats like the dantes and zeros i'll run into online plus others... seems that sentinel's defense isnt as strong as it was in mvc2 so thatll even the odds.

This still isn't that big a deal. Sentinel in this particular game is going to be free against certain characters. Wesker, Zero, X-23 are a few that can put a serious hurting on him. Slower fly + Lack of Super Armor = 1 biiiig target.

@SmexyMillz That's besides the point. Wesker can TP in and out of Sents range, just dancing around him, and Zero can KEEP him locked down with Normals. His normals are also relatively slow. I'm not sure how much of a background you have with MvC2 or TvC, but that can really kill him against a fast character who can initiate mixups. He IS good, but not the best in the game.

It might be me, but not many people would use X factor in the beginning of the match.. So this wouldn't be a problem in future matches... (maybe..) Me, I personally hate Sentinel; I just hope won't be fighting a bunch of teams with him (and most likely storm, magneto, and maybe four others that'll be paired up with sentinel), because it gets annoying..

He can't rushdown due to having no air dash and unable to cancel his ground dash with an attack. And he can't play keepaway well since his fireball is beaten by almost every other projectile in the game. Yes, Ryu is decent, but compared to the rest of the cast who are very strong, he's probably the worst in the game. (Again, in relation to the other characters)

@arcturusliz Perhaps he is, but one must also look at his strengths. His projectile is very powerful in and of itself, his air Tatsu's have 3 different versions each with a different travel arc and time, despite the lack of a cancelable ground dash he can still cover distances fairly quickly, and he may have the only true Anti Air in the game besides Zero in terms of invincibility and knockback. Tho he may not be as fancy as the others, he can damn sure hold his own. But that's still to be seen.

So, whereas Sent takes 20 hits with a simple combo to do a 100%, someone like VJ would take about 120 or so hits to have the same result. Also, the other weaker characters may well need assists for it, but regardless they all pretty much have 100%s.

But, she has a decent ground combo, and can use her slowdown + a good assist to keep the combo going. Way I see it, you'll use her ground normals + Dante Corridor into more ground normals KFC into even more ground normals into Level 3. That should be enough to do it.

Wow, these 100% combos don't even look that convoluted. Don't even need to fly/unfly. I actually think that is a good thing. Between this and the diversity of zoning options in MvC3 it seems to me that more of the emphasis will be on controlling space and less on execution.
