see i have that buzzing noise but on about 12 different fret strings and its annoying is it worth taking back from were i got it to repair also i would of turned the truss rod but i dont think a les paul has one?
@xXJACKOWACKOXx2 I would. Sounds like worn frets or a bad setup. When it's setup correctly you'll find it so much easier to play without fighting your guitars issues.
@TheBloodysk8 Sure, if you're comfortable doing this, then yes it could help with the set up of your guitar. Personally, I have someone who does this all the time set mine up as I wouldn't want to shag mine up :) If you're not sure, get a professional to do it for you, might be well worth it - good luck.
@supersonicmassivekid ..xD like your name. But, my guitar does the same thing:( the 6th string (thickest one) will make a buzzing sound even when i'm just strumming!! Please help:) thanks!
Hello, frets 11-13 on the high e string on my guitar are giving me a hard time. Every other fret on the other strings play perfectly fine except the ones I previously mentioned.is it time to adjust the truss rod? if so, should I loosen it up? or make it tighter?
This used to be my problem but now no matter where I press down it still buzzes. Mainly on the low E string, on any fret. It is a Squire electric guitar.
this is not my problem,my acoustic guitar makes the buzzing sound when i press down on a higher fret on the low E string.for example,if i press down on the 11th fret ,itl make a buzzing sound.please help.
@SuperKillaG Hey there, sounds like your guitar could do with a setup. As you mentioned, you're not making the buzz, the guitar is.
The action is slightly too low and I would suggest you have a pro look at it so they can setup your guitar correctly. Mention to them that it buzzes on the 11th fret and they should be able to adjust the action (height of your strings from the neck) so the buzzing disappears.
I didn't know Littlefinger played guitar
