I consider this guy one of the better lyricists of his time but with all the elements that go into being an MC is anyone really great outside of one's singular opinion? When people say an MC is great what is it based on? It's impossible...gives us something to talk about I guess...and in that guess they're all great for bringing whatever it is they bring that is unique and wonderous..
@blackphantom he was dope with ultramagnetic mc's but other than that when else was he good? Dr.Octagon album was average to below.. Cenobites was only good cuz it's godfather don making his beats.. People talk about Kool Keith being a legend but I only see an average cat that has a few good tracks.. That's my opinion tho
This was another album I was disappointed by when it came out, but in retrospect is pretty good. Special Efx is one of the greatest tracks of all time. This one is pretty good too. There are about 4 or so great tracks on here. Capped off the '90s indie movement.
I need to find Scara's track Alphabetical Hammer. Never heard anyone spit so technically until I heard that track for the first time. Scara's definitly my favorite lyricist
thats probably ur best bet, and if u do get it try to get the one with the extra tracks. If you read up on the release of this album, there were 2 releases due to production bs. One of the versions does not include this song
@Cantorious Aight dude. Good lookin for uploading this too. I'm glad I stumbled across dude. although it was bound to happen, I've been convinced Kool Keitth is the best and been banging all his shit until I heard this guy. Is there anyone you would say that's on those two's level? Besides Big L of course.. (r.i.p.)
@DeathDrums Well I could recommend all kinds of shit, hmm. From what you've told me you'd probably be into big kwam, youtube this /watch?v=8sIMqNKNP_Q. Dude comes out to some ill beats to. Also I would definitely recommend some B-one b-1, he's dope as fuck too, i uploaded one of his singles ''the life we lead''.. real dope shit. Soo much good stuff out there, you just can't stop diggin
ya of course. I mean, it's all an opinion really beleive it or not there are a lot of people that don't like kool keith. I say listen to everything, as long as it's dope that's all that matters. Kool keiths been doing it longer than anyone though, dudes ol skool and still comin fresh
@Cantorious The people that don't like Kool Keith must not like rap. If there was one rap head out there who didn't like Keith, I could find them a song of his or a collab. or something that he's done and they'd almost definitely change their mind . Do you agree with me though? That if there was a "Best" he would be it?
@DeathDrums Kool keith has something for everyone. I had a homie who didn't like him and one day i was playing some song in the car and he converted into liking kool keith. I don't really think theirs a best, ur just a top level MC or ur not. Everyone has different qualitys that others don't.
@Cantorious word up, that makes a lot of sense. it's no point trying to say who's the best, its just a hand ful of top level MCs out there. ay man, it was nice talking to you, and thanks again for uploading this shit.
Nah, I got the legit CD. I ordered from sandbox automatic about 10 years ago maybe. Wow. Can't believe it was so long ago. The last song on my copy is " Mine I C Mine ". This definitely is not on it.
this song id not on the original release. the version with this song on it came out like a year or two after the original. i has this and 3 more joints that were not on the original. including S.I.R., 7xl, and rmx to suga 99. i ordered this one but then just to get the extra joints even though i had the original. this version doesnt have "strip club bait" like the original. he was beefing with kut master kurt because kurt also gave the beat to that song to "motion man".
pure dopeness

It is if you have a legit copy, it's #14. A lot of people seem to have a downloaded version of 7 eyes that doesnt have this track.
