@MISSLOVETODANCE247 It all depends on the strength in your feet. I am 10 and going on pointe next week. Remember that just at the dance studio, isnt enough. Do simple barre work and turns at home, and Im sure if you work hard youll have pointes before you know it! ;)

@SmishaNiamh181296 it doesn't matter which age you go on pointe, as long as you're bones are formed nicely, you're technically strong, your physique and ankles are fine and strong, and most importantly, can you create an illusion of floating, i went on pointe at 9, few months before going 10, and i am fine, (14 now) i did all those at 12, going 13. you can be en pointe at ANY AGE, as long as oyu meet those requirements. :)

@balleTommy I never said that she's an amazing dancer because she's on pointe. I said that her technique is really good. Good technique comes with hard work and talent, not becasue someone goes on pointe. I also never said that i agree with her being on pointe at ten. In fact I don't agree with being on pointe before 11-12. i tried to say that on a video of a 6 year old russian girl on pointe, but they screen their comments before they post them, so it probably won't be posted.
