About that Jimi Hendrix raisin: It's probably there as a personal tribute to Jimi from the man that sang the California Raisin songs. The vocalist of the California Raisins was musician Buddy Miles, who played drums for Jimi Hendrix's last group. Jimi also produced Buddy's solo album in 1969. Buddy passed away just a few days ago after suffering "long term illness" at the relatively young age of 60.
