Well there remodling WoW well kalmidor and the eastern kingdoms since the new expanion the cataclyasm will remodle zones like the barrens will be split in half 1 for high lvl and other for low lvls and there transforiming some high lvl zones to low lvl

Also, Illidan had a 'great' run? He was a traitorous, magic addicted scumbag. And Most of the player characters in WoW have done more for the Horde/Alliance or even all of Azeroth that Illidan or Arthas ever did, it's just just '20 ordinary people'.

By great run, I mean he had an awesome story. All that "traitor stuff" was unique. I just think that someone with that kind of back story shouldn't be able to be confronted. Sure, put him in the game, but making him killable?

That just makes me lose faith in how powerful he really was.

I personally (and I don't doubt that others feel the same) enjoy playing the game knowing that there are these legends that "we'll meet someday".

It just makes it boring.

i guess i agree with you, its better to keep greats like Illidan as a legend, but then what could be more fun than being part of the legend? Reading up on the lore in WC4 in the future, about how Illidan was killed by a band of merry men and Maiev/Akama, and knowing you were there when it happened, fighting to bring him down. As much as I loved Illidan, it's better than having Blizzard just make new characters and come out on the other side of wow like nothing happened.

Bring in Kil'Jaedin? And then what? Some titans? Eventually they'll have nobody for you to fight and will just have to come up with random characters.

However, if they don't kill off everyone, they can at least have you fight their minions and seemingly work your way up, but at the same time still stand no match against the "most powerful being".

I Imagine Azshara would be next after Arthas, but I think Kil'Jaeden would stay behind and get some more demons for the Legion. Then the Forgotten Ones, and the Elementals, plus death never really stopped Sylvanas, though I doubt they would make Zombie Illidan. Warcraft lore is HUGE. There will always be something left behind or someone new to come and cause some trouble. Plus they can always revert to good old Horde vs Alliance, that worked pretty well.

Arthas isn't even accessible yet to fight. And there is still Kil'Jaeden, who was merely pushed back from the Fury of the Sunwell. Aside from that, there's still Miaev who just went missing after feeling "void" and "desolate." WoW just came out with the intro of the Death God in Ulduar. There's still the whole Titans that have yet to come. WoW story line is far from over.
