  • Chords Sound Like Buddy Miles Down By The River

  • stellar. the main floor is your best value here. the closer you are the awesomeness increases exponentially. whats more is that live shows actually are much better than your vinyl experience as much as some like to follow the bouncing ball.

  • Creedence-like (Green River in slow mo)

  • your are all TOOLS... this is the real version of breathe and on the run... wipe your pussies and stand up to real Floyd mates!!!!!

  • Great stuff - you gotta love the Floyd!

  • this early version of ON THE RUN was that way, called "Travel Sequence" then they decided to change it

  • i want tabs for the on the run part

  • i actualy got this whole live version from pink floyd's website "the most complete" i downloaded free a year ago but dnt kno now u will get there or not...jus check it!

  • could sumbody message me the tab for this song

  • its not hard to figure out

  • What you have to remember is that the effects used on the album version were pretty much unheard of until that time, so to people who bought it at the time, it must have sounded out of this world. Saying that, I do agree that a version such of this would have been preferable.

  • where did you get this record??

    please! i need it !!

tell me how can i get this record!!!

  • You can probably torrent PF bootlegs off of the internet. eBay occasionally has a bootleg LP or CD, but they're rare and often very expensive.

  • you might be able to get it at the "live music arcive"

  • Is it just me or does Rick's solo from around 5:30-6:23 sound a bit odd?

  • I don't think it is...maybe it sounds strange because he didn't play on Rhodes pianos very often (at least in the studio; you only hear Rhodes piano in a few Floyd songs, as far as I know).

  • It has a sort of Riders of the storm by the Doors feel to it. Is that what you're talking about?

  • The Travel Section se llama, no les gustaba mucho esa parte como pieza musical así que ahí empezaron a experimental con el sintetizador.

  • It's kind of a shame, i love this version a thousand times more than the studio version

  • I know man, I really like this version of on the run, but i think it might of not fitted in with the whole feel of the album. Either way, thanks for uploading. Many thanks.

  • i remember in tha classic albums documentary of Dark Side david gilmour said that roger would frequently reduce the musical quality of a piece in order to make it fit better with the overall concept (or somethign like that)

  • What a shame.

  • i just love 1972 versions of dark side of the moon. the amount of creativity in this jam causes it to burst at the seams practically

  • Musically I prefeer this one to the original "On the Run". But the studio version gave the frightening feel it was supposed to give.

  • could you tell me which bootleg in particular this recording comes from?

  • I am not 100% sure but i believe this one was labeled "Dark Side of the Rising Sun"

  • Although this is still obviously a work in progress it has a real feel to it that was possibly lost with the polished studio version. Thanks for posting this one.

  • it sounds like no one else

  • His voice does sound a bit weird, but he wasn't singing it with the same weariness he did on the album.

  • This is back when "On The Run" was still called "The Traveling Section" or "The Traveling Sequence". Much better than the album version. I am currently downloading the concert they performed the day before this (among others) via a torrent. The Floyd has an awful lot of bootlegs from that time period for a cult band.
