  • Steve Perry is one of those rare individuals that people never forget. Even after all these years he has such a loyal following of admirers, they just will never forget him nor let him go. Its his voice but its more then that, its a looking and longing for those good old days but yet still its more...its him and just some aura that surrounds him in life-he is known to be a really nice-down to earth guy and that resonates with so many who hold him dear.

  • oh there you are Steve!!! just had to watch you and listen to you. bless you

  • The Message is Clear in this Song and Steve is having fun and so is Neal exploding this music on stage to the audience to Be Good to Themselves.

I mean, just look at his facial expression and how he sounds.

He was acting, looking, and sounding crazy!!!

  • A good song from a good album. Just wonder how good it would have been had Steve not forced Ross and Steve Smith out. I still do not understand the reasoning behind those moves.

  • dorky? how can this song seem dorky? i wasnt evan alive when this song came out in 86. i love it and it kiks the shit outa todays musical standards :P hehe journey on!!!!

  • Geez. What a difference to perspective 20 years can make. At the time, Journey seemed so "rokken", so hard core.... by today's standards, as evidenced by this vid, they seem so......harmless. Dorky, even. Make no mistake, I've always loved this song....

  • Pick a team, Olemonkey, pick a side and stay with it. Don't be a pussy and say you loved a harmless song. Hang your nuts out like Steve Perry and sing your lungs out. Arena rock defined the 80s rock scene, many 80s rock fans swore by these groups, regardless of a "dorky" song. Listen to the music and watch someone with passion believe in what he's singing.

  • You're getting a little carried away here. I already said I liked this song. I was merely speaking from the perspective of experience; watching this performance now, over 20 years later, they seem like just a group of guys hamming it up on stage and loving it. In other words they seem less like bullet proof rock gods and more like overgrown dorks. you know, like you and me. To which I give them all the more praise: BRAVO!!!

  • Today's standards? Rebel rock? Overkill is a better description. Quality is impossible to find, time to look harder.

  • In my opinion , the best Journey song ever!
