  • Does anybody know if these are high bar or low bar squats? I can't really tell.

  • God damn a real squat.....fucking beast

  • Good Shit... I'll be here one day

  • a fucking beast!

  • fuck, nice form......how'd you get your hip flexors so loose? genetics or stretching or what?

  • Thats definitely 405, you can see the shine off the 4 differet plates. Most squat videos don't impress me because its either a short guy, or the dont go down far enough, or are using a belt. This guy isbeast, I tip my hat sir!

  • Hi, how much should your torso angle when squatting? I've been told it should be at an angle like this /.

  • Ok just read up on his stats ....sounds like a beast...I'm just beginning so it was hard for me to grasp...that's awesome bro...keep it up

  • Well if its legit then that's amazing..but I couldn't really believe it unless I saw it in person...no disrespect

  • Id be willing to put money on the fact that that IS NOT 405

  • @jlghpmc11 And you'd lose that money.

  • @jlghpmc11 Your stupid!

  • @jlghpmc11 - silly man you...PAY UP!

  • Wow I got 405 x 5 and I thought that was good. I feel like a little bitch. That was one of the more impressive things I have ever seen.

  • youre a machine

  • haha I can do 405 once haha I hate my life, good stuff man

  • Don't you just hate it when you find one of these nimrods doing squats in the curl rack just as you're preparing to bust out some wicked 50-lb barbell curls?

  • You're a mutant. Damn. I'm aiming for 405x1 at my first powerlifting meet.. jeez

  • great work man. super impressive. im 18 140 pounds and i started this summer squatting 225 for 10 reps. after alot of sweat and hard work since the beginning of the summer im at 315 for 8 reps. but this is truly inspirational im gonna keep working.

  • that was nuts! the guy was struggling at 10 reps but he just kept on going!

  • his form is magic.

  • His form is perfect and if you think otherwise you're an idiot.

  • Very impressive lifting!

  • now that's some weightliftin right there

  • this guy is a freak of nature, i envy him

  • thats alot of reps man, i bet you were fried after this.

  • deep squats? thats ATG !!! very impressive!!

  • holy shit. that looks like highbar too. this is so wild. should put is disclaimer on it. "do not attempt if your balls aren't the size of soccer balls"

  • can you dunk?

  • Wow!!! That is impressive!! Can't imagine the burn after that set

  • Amazing.

  • id be sweating to death trying this

  • "friends dont let friends squat high" lol

that should be a tshirt saying and it should be sold in gyms around the world .

  • @689433. Powerlifters go to " half ass depth " ?? That's funny cause last time I checked your redlighted and the lift is no good if you don't go below parallel. But hey why do I know. And legs wide open like a barn door? They do that because it allows them to lift more weight. Its called leverage. As if you know anything you fucking jackass.

  • Jesus Christ, this guy isn't human. Hats off to you bro, you're an absolute warrior.

  • Holy shit are you kidding?this is amazing strength

  • Guys squatting this deep is bad for you knees. Just take 135 and do it 100 times

    for partial reps.

  • @brink2992 trolling is fun, isn't it?

  • I can't get over this. Is this video legit? I am unbelievably impressed if so.

  • You would've got at least 40 if you listened to anything off of Master of Puppets or Ride the Lightning instead. Excellent job by the way =P

  • sleep with one eye open..... off to never never land..

    METALLICA OWNS ALL.

  • @russmangbay123 Hetfield's max squat's only 515

  • Wow. Great form and endurance

  • @buccola13 watch Dobson do lunges with 585...

  • This video show some of thebest squatting i have ever seen in youtube. This guy is great....real nice controlled squats and performed by not some fat ass powerlifter giong half assed depth and with his legs as wide as a barn doorto only go 4-5 inches down...GREAT SQUATING!!!!

  • deep squat at 1:13

    nice

i try to do deep squats too even though every one on my wrestling team doesnt even touch the safety bars!

  • Damn, i've done alot of squatting in the past 18 months...intense as shit but i think he's got me beat. Guess i gotta push just that much harder, always someone training alot more intense then you are out there. Goodshit man true motivation.

  • Totally speechless.

Holy he'll bro you are the squat master and my new inspiration.

I would love to hear how you train.

  • Beautiful squats brother.

  • ps put up a picture of his quads for us! they must be huge!

  • pwa so i gotta squat in excess of 7 plates to do 4plates for 20+ reps?

damn! even jesse marunde couldnt do this!

  • Can I just say HOLY FUCKING SHIT YOU ARE EXTREMELY STRONG. And no disrespect intended, but...much stronger than you look, which usually means no enhancement of the chemical variety.

  • @mikper7 I agree.. very unexpecting.

  • that is fucking impressive , does he do any glute ham raises by any chance?

  • olympic style high bar squats = win

  • That guy is a monster.

  • Inspirational !

  • WOW, nice. You don't even look that big.

And you even gave it a try to do one more. THAT'S absolute fail.

That was awesome man. By sheer coincidence, it will be Valentine's day tomorrow too!

Keep up the good work man.

  • Awesome, well done.

  • Awesome form...

  • question my friend, how many reps with approximetly your own bodyweight on the bar do you think you could do with a maximum time of two minutes ,because i see a lot of insane vids of people repping out for 3-4 even 5 minutes of squating makes me realize hey thats impressive but how much can you push yourself when you know you only got two minutes or so ?

  • After seeing this I feel terrible man! Lol those were like 12 inch box squats there obviously without a box though. Nice job brother!

  • My max squat!!! 26 times...... wtf, u beast!

  • monster

  • Whats your max squat?

  • @333DJH His max is 672.

  • @SupremeSportsPT impressive, nice music too.

  • this is the mos t impressive squat video ever...period

  • Great depth, weight and total reps. Great squatting ! ! !

  • Nice work.

  • very nice!

  • this is puketastic! ---subscribed---

  • Comment removed

  • i dont understand why this guy isnt supremely massive if he can move that kind of weight around so easily. his legs seem like they should be easily 3x that big

  • really amazing squats..wow...i cant do it once....

  • very nice! good form throughout the set and focus evidence of great coaching

  • "friends dont let friends squat high"....Yeah Buddy

  • badass... who would dislike this...

  • extremely impressive. where is your cape superman?

  • you know it's a good gym when you see a collegiate rack from elite fts, a ghr, and a rack able cambered bar in the back ground. and spot pins ftw

  • Very impressive. Thank you for your previous advice about my squat. Now I am much better in squat. :-)

  • music and grunts accounted for at least 23 reps

  • omfg man! thats amazing!! im guessing u can squat in the 700-800 zone?

  • thats deep. good for you!

  • Cool song ! Hey, I live within a few miles, should check it out sometime ! I could practically walk to your facility, just down the Pike. Thing is, I'd have to pass IHOP on the way there--and the way back ! haha.

  • big respect for you my man!

  • now thats 3 minutes of hell lol

  • this guy is a freaking squat machine awesome endurance and strength

  • Incredible squatting power .These are picture perfect style olympic lifting squats. What is his best maximum single ? 550 ? Amazing nevertheless . I don't think I've ever seen anybody squat so well. Dave Rigert perhaps .

  • nice reps bro...good stuff you're strong

  • I have just one thing to say...WELL DONE. If anyone critques you on your form or depth they are a complete dumbass. I've been powerlifting for over 25 years, my hats off to you. Good job.

  • If you're a ProudConservative you're proud to watch stupid shit filled with misinformation and lies like FauxNews too. It explains alot in his way of thinking.

Actual facts mean nothing, what he heard that someone else says was true is all the facts he needs.

  • im 13 202lbs of solid dope-free power and I can squat 400lbs for about 24 reps with ass to the grass technique.

  • This Olympic style you keep mentioning; Stan efferding also uses this method as the strongest body builder in the world with a 850 pound raw squat. Focus on his knees when he squats. Never over the toes.

  • @ProudConservative47 You are dumb and do not understand basic bio-mechanics if you think knees cannot come over toes ever in any type of squat. Truly ignorant.

  • @Supreme SportsPT I love seek and destroy and You went past parallel!! Holy Shit!!!

  • This made my knees hurt just watching this. I hope no one will be influenced to do such a dangerous exercise for the back and knees. I know it feels good to be strong when you're young, but no one wants to be immobile in their old age because of "squats".

  • @theyiddish Let me guess, your a pussy. Go to back to your elliptical, no run to your elliptical now!

  • @SuperTongpo

I'm just looking out for your health supertongpo, squats have been scientifically proven to destroy your knees and back. You'd be much safer on the leg press machine. Besides, women don't even like men with big legs, you're supposed to be fit and toned, not bulky like a bodybuilder whose done too much creatines.

  • @theyiddish

    LOL.

    Excellent trolling.

  • @theyiddish do yourself a favor and shut the fuck up. you clearly know nothing, legpress doesnt work the same muscles as a squat. and i think you mean "steroids" not "creatines" you fucking idiot.

  • I HAVE WATCHED THIS VIDEO A LEAST 10 TIMES AND IT STILL MOTIVATES ME.... IF I EVER MOVE, IM MOVING DOWN THE STREET FROM YOUR GYM, GOOD MUSIC, PEOPLE THAT TRAIN AND NOT TRY TO GET A DATE, AND PEOPLE YELLING AT YOU TO GET THE LIFT AND NOT GIVE UP. AWESOME

  • Andy is probably one of the best squatters posting videos on youtube...awesome.

  • I look like I could squat 615 and this guy looks like he can barely squat 315. This guy just proved to me that I'm not doing shi* in my workout. I need to step it up. Thanks for the post

  • Crazy!! Very nice.

  • too slow

  • great squats great form great music what more could you ask for great set bro im aiming to squat this once lol i love how u dodged the weight @ the end such a pro

  • holy fuck nice

  • Awesome raw squatting here.

Much more impressive than the equipment shit.

  • Any advices to make my squat better. thanks in advance... Great clip

  • Thank you for the earlier answer.. I bet I have poor leverage.

  • If I squat my body weight ( 68kg ) x1,5 which will be 102kg I never can´t go all way down, what is the secret some ppl can? Thank you.

  • @shad1666 Without seeing you squat, I have no idea. It could be any number of things - lack of hip mobility, lack of ankle flexibility, fear of injury, inexperience, technical deficiencies, poor leverages, etc.

  • @ProudConservative47 Actually, you couldn't be more wrong. I'm not going to get into a war of words w/ you b/c that would be a waste of our time. Suffice it to say, these are Olympic-style high-bar squats. You are correct in saying that typically you want to sit back & recruit the hips/glutes. It's good for the shins to be vertical, however, it's not necessary. Louie Simmons, Chad Aichs, et al. do NOT squat below parallel which is precisely why they stand with ultra-wide stances & sit back.

  • @ProudConservative47 Chat w/ Louie sometime, he'll even tell ya. There are multiple squatting styles. He and his crew are multi-ply and they don't squat deep. Period. They'll even tell you that if you ask them. When we teach people to squat, we assess their leverages and goals then teach them accordingly. If you want to OL, then your shins had better come over your toes or you'll fail to perform the OLs properly. While I do cue lifters to "sit back", "knees out", and "chest up"...it's not

  • @ProudConservative47 absolutely vital depending upon their leverages (genetics). Some will be more upright with forward shins, while others may sit back more with more vertical shines like Wade Hooper. No two squats will look identical. Besides, if you're not breaking parallel, you ain't squatting anyway. You're only playing games and kidding yourself. Cheers!

  • @SupremeSportsPT hmmm.even goin parallel with 1000 is still pretty decent i would suggest....imo

  • whats bw???? hell of a lift.....

  • @SupremeSportsPT great squat bro, truly impressive

  • @SupremeSportsPT holyshit!! icant do that body weight.. any tips? and i am lean...

  • @ProudConservative47

Yeah man, you're pretty much wrong in everything you say.

PL squats got nothing on legit, ATG olympic style squats. Watch a video on Pat Mendes... ATG 800 lbs. RAW/. None of that suit stuff. BTW, squatting in a suit means you HAVE to sit back and recruit the glutes/hams....if you stay too upright, your hips will roll forward and you will drop the weight.

  • @ProudConservative47 You have no idea what you are talking about. PL squat for maximum leverage that is why the keep their hips back. Olympic lifters squat exactly like this guy. Maybe he wants to develop his legs instead of just having a big butt from a basterdized good morning (which many PL's call a squat). His form is perfect!

  • God awful form. Bye bye knees. Do yourself a favor and look up Chad Aichs on muscle and fintess. 122 pound squater who shows the correct way.

  • @shad1666 work your way up to the weight. When you "practice" do weights that you can go all the way down and go from there.

  • That's fucking excellent but that's probably mostly what your good for.

  • Wow! This guys is amazing! I weigh 170lbs and i squatted 315lbs for 10 and felt like I was going to pass out. Amazing feat of strength.

  • Testing

  • Incredible! Just Incredible!

  • No belt,wraps,jet pack !! Great job. !!!

  • Real squats !!! Great job !!

  • @kieferdamann naked of course...lol

  • 315

  • BAD ASS

  • your amazing!

  • I expected the form to be bad when i read the title, but these are excellent squats. I'm very impressed.

  • I expected the form to be bad when i read the title, but these are excellent squats. I'm very impressed.

  • Nice going!! That is friggin bad ass!! Each one is WAY below parallel

  • looks more like 26 sets of 1....lol

  • wow, just increadible, awesome job sir!

  • @kieferdamann Point taken. However, wearing a belt does NOT necessarily mean you can't or won't get hurt. In fact, many trainees still get hurt wearing a belt because they automatically assume they no longer have to tighten their abs and lower back and they rely on the belt to protect them. As long as you know how to tighten your abs and brace them hard enough, you can be safe w/o a belt. There are many examples of folks squatting and deadlifting huge weights without a belt.

  • nice lift,whats ur max

  • @kieferdamann Yes sir. Again...I'm saying raw = nothing supportive at all. (just shoes, shorts, t-shirt, etc.) Most others would argue that a belt and knee sleeves is still raw.

  • @kieferdamann Some powerlifting federations define "Raw" as belt, knee sleeves, & wrist wraps only. In reality, a truly raw lift is sans any additional supportive equipment. When you think about it, anything that offers even the slightest amount of support may technically be considered gear or equipment. In other words, one can typically squat more with a belt than w/o one. Hence, the belt offers support (aid). Some people look at this as semantics. I suppose I'm just old school.

  • @SupremeSportsPT damn Im blown away. Flawless form..... Probably the best squatting video i have seen on youtube. I really respect this guy and how deep he gets on the squats.

  • well there's a difference between 100% raw and just what people deem raw. For example, a 100% raw bench involves no wrist wraps, but it's not like you're getting poundage out of the wraps. Neoprene knee sleeves don't give you poundage, just keep the joint warm. A belt can give you some poundage though, and knee wraps, depending on how they're worn and how long they are can give you a lot. Incredible props to this guy for doing this lift completely raw, this is an amazing feat.

  • 2o reps is hard enough as it is!

  • @kieferdamann Raw means without the use of any supportive equipment (belt, knee wraps, squat suit, etc.).

  • @SupremeSportsPT why do some people wear only a belt and yet still call it a raw lift?

  • Holy crap!

  • I wanna shake his hand

  • is that seek and destroy i hear in the background? btw great job

  • that's insane!!!!

  • That is awesome! I know what it's like to do heavy weight for high reps. Sometimes you feel like you are going to pass out. Good job, man. For no knee wraps and I'm guessing no belt..... that is very impressive!

  • The mental state evolution phases in between the last forced reps at standing position, is unimaginable, only core squatters would understand what I´ve just written.

  • @Yaqidh i hear ya man!!!

  • Freakin metallica blasting while squatting, they play that gay ass hip hop shit at my gym.metallica rocks.

  • nice work

  • MAN!!! ALL THE WAY TO ABSOLUTE FAILURE!!!! BEST LIFT VIDEO I'VE SEEN SO FAR.
